摘要： In an apparatus for successively making plastic bags, a laser beam irradiator irradiates laser beam onto webs of panel material and a body of zipper material to heat and melt the webs of panel material and the body of zipper material with the laser beam. The webs of panel material and the body of zipper material are fed intermittently at a speed predetermined to be changed by time. The irradiator is controlled on a feedforward control basis for the laser beam to be regulated in amount, the amount being calculated from the speed predetermined, to obtain a calculated value of amount. The laser beam is regulated in accordance with the calculated value to heat and melt the webs of panel material and the body of zipper material uniformly irrespective of the speed being changed.

摘要： A trifold side seamed film produce bag includes a front wall and a back wall, first and second side edges sealed together and a seamless bag bottom. The bag is joined at the side edges to additional bags by a perforation. The bag is corona treated on at least one wall and promotional material is printed on the treated surface. The bags are folded to one third of their height to fit compact bag roll dispensers. The bags are folded in a Z-fold or C-fold configuration. The method includes manufacturing the bags and winding them onto cores or forming the bags into coreless rolls. An apparatus for forming the side seamed bags includes an extruder, a tubing flattener, a perforator, a sealer, a corona treater, a printer and a slitter. The treated, printed bags may be stored on rolls for later slitting into two bag streams and folding into thirds.

摘要： In order to provide an apparatus for successively making plastic bags each of which includes panel portions and a bottom gusset portion, in a way different from the prior art, upper and lower webs of panel material are superposed on each other and fed longitudinally thereof. A web of bottom gusset material is supplied to one of the webs of panel material to be superposed on the outer surface thereof, the web of bottom gusset material having opposite side edges one of which extends along ones of the opposite side edges of the webs of panel material. The web of bottom gusset material and the other web of panel material are temporarily fixed to each other at ones of the opposite side edges thereof after the webs of panel material are superposed and the web of bottom gusset material is supplied. One of the webs or the other web of panel material and the web of bottom gusset material are then guided so that one of the webs or the other web of panel material can be folded at a position adjacent to ones of the opposite side edges of the webs of panel material when the webs of panel material are fed. The web of bottom gusset material is combined with the webs of panel material. The panel portions are formed by the webs of panel material while the bottom gusset portion is formed by the web of bottom gusset material.

摘要： The present invention concerns a gusseted flexible bag, a method of manufacturing the bag, and apparatus for manufacture of said bags, closure devices for such bags and method of sealing the bag. In one embodiment, the flexible bag of the present invention is formed from the tube of material having a front side and a rear side. A pair of laterally disposed opposing gusset folds are formed in the tube along its sides. Each of the folds has a longitudinal crease. The bag further has a rear side flap extending from the rear side of the bag across the width of the tube which is folded over onto and hot air sealed to the front side of the tube of material. The gussets each have a slit approximate a first end of the tube thereby forming a front side flap. A front side flap may also be manufactured, if desired, which is then folded over when the rear side flap is folded so that the front side flat rests under the rear side flap. The rear side flap is hot air sealed to the front side of the bag with the front side flap being sealed therebetween. In the preferred embodiment the tube of material comprises polypropylene film on the exterior of the tube and woven polypropylene film on the interior of the tube. In a preferred embodiment the woven polypropylene film on the inner surface of the rear side flap is sealed to the woven polypropylene film on the inside surface of the front side flap.
