    • A press for translating a tool includes a first member, a second member and a plurality of retention members. The first member is drivingly coupled to an actuator. The first member is axially moveable between first and second positions in response to movement of the actuator. The first member includes a first end surface having a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart detents. The second member is threadably engaged with the first member. The first and second members define an assembly having a length. The retention members are positioned between the first and second members. Each retention member is biasedly engaged with one of the detents to provide resistance to relative rotation between the first and second members. The resistance to relative rotation may be overcome to adjust the length of the assembly.

    • A punch press having connecting rods which face away from each other are arranged on the eccentric shaft, and each connecting rod is coupled to a connecting lever. Two toggle joint mechanism units are connected to one connecting lever. Two further toggle joint mechanism units are connected to the other connecting lever extending in the opposite direction. The first named toggle joint mechanism units are connected via pressure columns to a first ram. The second named toggle joint mechanism units are connected via further pressure columns to a second ram. Due to the driving structural members which are arranged symmetrically distributed relative to the eccentric shaft of the punch press and the two rams arrived that thereby, the punch press can feature an extremely long space for receipt of the tools without that the height of the punch press, the allowable rated loading and the moving masses must be held overally large.

    • This invention is a novel mold-pressing apparatus for molding and pressing a material, which is provided with an electric servo motor and a pair of linking mechanisms. The electric servo motor drives the mold-pressing apparatus and rotates itself in the normal and inverse directions. The electric servo motor is numerically controlled. The driving force from the electric servo motor is transmitted to the pressing mold via the linking mechanism by a rotation to reciprocation conversion assembly. By virtue of the provision of these, the mold-pressing apparatus can very easily and effectively secure the applicable pressure and adjust the pressure-applying speed, stroke of the pressing mold, and the pressing time so that the mold operator can create a comfortable environment and improve overall efficiency of the pressing operation.
