    • The invention relates to a cylinder cover for a cylinder of a piston mechanism. In certain embodiments, the cylinder cover includes a cylinder cover body, a valve plate, and a one-directional valve. The cylinder cover body has an exhaust port, and an oil intake. The exhaust port and oil intake are disposed on outer circumference of the cylinder cover body. The one directional oil valve is formed by a compression spring and a ball. An inner end of the oil intake is connected to the compression spring through the ball and the ball is disposed between one end of the compression spring and the inner end of the oil intake. The valve plate is retained on an inner wall of the cylinder cover body by a retaining nut. The cylinder cover further has an auxiliary heating rod inside cylinder cover body for pre-heating cylinder cover to a predetermined temperature.

The cap defines a substantially annular channel in communication with the outlet opening of the base and an outlet port defined in a portion of a circumferential wall of the annular cap and in communication with the annular channel. Rotation of the cap about the boss moves the outlet opening among a plurality of radial positions relative to the boss.

    • The present invention provides a head valve assembly for a pneumatic fastener including a piston assembly reciprocated within a cylinder assembly for driving a fastener and a housing having an end cap for at least partially enclosing the head valve assembly. The head valve assembly includes a valve piston for causing supply pressure to be ported to the piston assembly for moving the piston assembly within the cylinder assembly from a non-actuated position to an actuated position for driving the fastener. Further, an inner cap is disposed within the end cap around the valve piston. The inner cap includes an inlet port for porting pressure to the valve piston. In addition, a main seal is coupled to the valve piston for sealing the cylinder assembly from supply pressure while pressure is ported to the valve piston by the inner cap for holding the piston assembly in the non-actuated position. The main seal seals pressure ported to the valve piston by the inner cap from supply pressure ported to the piston assembly.
