摘要： A method for erecting a wind turbine tower is disclosed. A tower section (8) comprising a lower flange (9) and an upper flange (10), and a plurality of stud bolts (6) and nuts (7) are provided. The tower section (8) is oriented in an upright position with the lower flange (9) below the upper flange (10), and stud bolts (6) are positioned in bolt holes (12) in the lower flange (9) with nuts (7) arranged on an upper side of the lower flange (9). The tower section (8) is lifted to a mounting position on top of another tower section (13), and a flange combination is formed by aligning the bolt holes (12) formed in the lower flange (9) of the tower section (8) with bolt holes (15) formed in an upper flange (14) of the other tower section (13), while advancing the stud bolts (6) through the bolt holes (12, 15). The invention further provides a socket tool (16) for screwing nuts (7) onto stud bolts (6) in a manner which positions the stud bolts (6) correctly with respect to a flange (9).

Ports located on the bolt tensioning piston allow pressure to be exerted on the system via supply and bleed ports, thus applying tension to the plurality of stud assemblies simultaneously.

摘要： In a tensioning device for expanding a threaded bolt by a pull on its threaded end portion, a supporting tube surrounds the threaded end portion and a nut is screwed onto the threaded end portion. A cylinder is arranged in the prolongation of the supporting tube and has at least one piston movable therein in the longitudinal direction and connectable to a hydraulic supply. An interchangeable bush is screwable to the threaded end portion and is drivable axially by the piston. A gear arrangement for adjusting the nut is provided. Components of the gear arrangement are a driver element engaging externally on the nut and a drive shaft provided with an engagement structure for a drive tool. In this case, the axis of rotation of the drive shaft is arranged at an angle of preferably 90° to the longitudinal mid-axis of the piston.

摘要： A system for preloading tension in a stud using an anti-seizure spacer for tapered thread connections is provided. The system comprises a hydraulic tensioning device including a nut configured for threadably engaging the stud, a foot, a cylinder having a first bore defined therein and a surface for engaging the foot, and a piston movably positioned within the first bore, wherein a hydraulic cavity is defined therebetween. The device further includes a puller screw including male tapered threads configured for being threadably coupled with female tapered threads on the stud. The puller screw includes a head configured for engaging a surface of the piston. The system also includes a spacer positioned between the male tapered threads of the puller screw and the female tapered threads of the stud. A method for preloading tension in a stud using the spacer is also provided.

A piston is moveable in the cylinder longitudinally. An exchange socket is connected to the piston and driven axially by it. The exchange socket has a first end with internal thread to be screwed onto the threaded end section and a second end with an external polygon member. A tool attachable to the external polygon member enables turning of the exchange socket. The tool has a cup-shaped section having a first open end and an inner side with tool faces that engage the external polygon member. The tool has a drive section that is slimmer than the cup-shaped section and connected to a second end of the cup-shaped section. The drive section extends away from the cup-shaped section.
