    • A metal cutting and welding guide that aids operator precision in hot metalworking. The guide assists in cutting or welding straighter more precise lines on metal. The guide comprises an arm cradle with a rolling mechanism and arm straps or some similar attaching mechanism. The preferred rolling mechanism moves in a strictly linear motion along the metal. In an alternative embodiment the rolling mechanism can swivel for nonlinear cuts or welds. The invention is affixed to the operator's arm with straps. The rolling mechanism guides the operator as he cuts or welds the metal on a horizontal surface. The operator holds the torch in the arm with the guide attached.

    • A three dimensional flame nozzle on which at least four conduits stand upright. Each conduit has at least upper and lower nozzle tips. The angles of each nozzle tip can be adjusted so that a flame blown from each nozzle tip intersects with the flame blown from a corresponding nozzle tip to form a three dimensional flame having a number-sign shape that is steady and focused near the central portion of reinforcement steel.     • An autogenous portable apparatus is described for welding and oxygen cutting operations which uses a combustible gas fuel and oxygen derived from the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide flowing through a catalyst of lead chips. The catalyst is positioned to allow priming by initial quantities of hydrogen peroxide to be injected into the catalyst by the action of gravity. Once oxygen is formed the pressures thereof are fed back to the container holding the hydrogen peroxide thereby pressurizing the same and cause increasing quantities of oxygen to be produced until the desired level has been reached. Condensers are provided to condense the water vapor also formed in the conversion process to purify the oxygen prior to use thereof at a welding torch. A fluid control valve regulates the flow of the hydrogen peroxide at a rate inversely to the pressure of the oxygen to thereby maintain the pressure below a maximum predetermined value.
