摘要： A spot welding apparatus includes a stationary frame having a housing formed therein. An upper welding gun is mounted to a length direction of a pressing unit disposed in the housing of the stationary frame. A plurality of lower welding guns are mounted on an outside of the stationary frame and ends of the plurality of lower welding guns selectively face one end of the upper welding gun in a length direction of the lower welding guns by the plurality of lower welding guns. A plurality of actuators are mounted on the outside of the stationary frame. A plurality of link units are disposed between the actuators and the lower welding guns, connect the actuators and the lower welding guns, respectively, and rotate as the actuators are operated.

摘要： A spot welding apparatus includes a stationary frame having a housing formed therein. 摘要： A rod-based well screen is formed in place on a perforated pipe base by wrapping wire around the pipe base and a plurality of rods located around the outside of the pipe. The wire is welded sequentially to each individual rod as it is wrapped around the pipe. The welding and ground electrodes engage the wire and the rods respectively. The rod engaging ground electrode is positioned a short distance ahead of the wire being wrapped around the rods and the pipe base. The ground electrode includes a plurality of contacts. Each contact is mounted to pivot toward and away from a rod. Springs urge each contact toward a rod to hold the rod against the outside surface of the pipe base and to maintain good electrical contact between the contact and the rod. Each contact has a groove to guide the rod into position for welding to the wire.

摘要： An electrode alignment device and weld head for automated welding machines includes a base member, a gap wheel, an electrode holder and a coupling rod. The gap wheel includes a plurality of graduations, where each graduation corresponds to a predetermined electrode spacing for an automated welding process. In one embodiment, the graduations in the gap wheel comprise pairs of apertures, with a first aperture for engaging an alignment post on the base member, and a second aperture for engaging an alignment post on the electrode holder. Among the graduations, the spacing between the first and second apertures is different. As such, the electrode spacing may easily and accurately be changed by disengaging the coupling rod, rotating the gap wheel to the proper graduation, and reengaging the coupling rod.

摘要： A variable condition compensating and equalizing dual electrode holder having cam-surfaced pistons supporting the electrodes and a barrel cam coacting with the cam surfaces on the pistons. The pistons are resiliently extended by springs and one piston retracts upon contact until the other piston makes contact with the workpiece in advancing movement of the holder. This action is permitted by transverse movement of the barrel. Further inward movement of the pistons due to advancing movement of the holder locks the pistons in their different extensions against the barrel. Further advancing movement of the holder presses the electrodes into equal contact with the workpiece. Coolant circulation is provided by tubular pistons and coaxial tubes and transferring coolant across the holder body through the barrel cam cavity from side apertures in the tubular pistons.
