    • The thread former is used for the non-cutting shaping of threads and has a main body (1′) on which the moldings (6) are provided, distributed over the circumference. Said moldings are provided with thread-forming teeth (13, 14). Profile grinding tools are used to produce the thread-forming teeth (13, 14), both in the main body (1′) as well as in the moldings (6). In order for the thread former to be produced easily and cost-effectively, the moldings (6) protrude radially beyond the main body (1′) so far that the profile tool only engages with the molding when producing the thread-forming teeth (13, 14). Consequently, the profiling tool only has to machine one type of material. The thread former is used for the non-cutting shaping of threads, particularly of internal threads.

    • A screw tap with replaceable tool bit has a holding body, a detachable blade, and a fixing element. The holding body has a receiving area and a first engaging portion. The detachable blade is mounted in the receiving area of the holding body and has a second engaging portion, and the second sharp part of the second engaging portion engages with the first sharp part of the first engaging portion. The fixing element is securely mounted through the holding body and the detachable blade. The detachable blade can disassemble from the holding body, and thus one holding body could be installed with detachable blades of various dimensions. As the detachable blade is damaged, the damaged detachable blade is replaced with a new detachable blade to keep processing.

The receiving groove profiles of the receiving grooves and the holding profiles of the cutting inserts interact with each other in such a way that a cutting insert, when inserted into its receiving groove, is guided in the axial direction parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the annular holder and, in the fully inserted state, is clamped in a radial direction perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis of the annular holder.
