摘要： Presented are hybrid fixture assemblies with integrated additive manufactured features, methods for making/using such fixtures, and manufacturing systems equipped with such fixtures. A manufacturing fixture assembly includes a fixture support frame formed, at least in part, from a first material, and a fixture support shell formed, at least in part, from a second material distinct from the first material. The support frame, which seats on/mounts to a work surface, includes a skeletal substructure with multiple male connectors projecting therefrom. The skeletal substructure contains multiple first frame walls that are removably intermeshed with multiple second frame walls in a collapsible format. The support shell includes a support surface that holds a workpiece, an interface surface that abuts the skeletal substructure, and multiple female connectors that project from the interface surface. Each female connector removably receives therein a respective male connector to thereby detachably mount the support shell to the support frame.

摘要： An expansion tool includes a housing, a collar rotatably coupled to the housing, the collar including a plurality of slots, a plurality of jaws, each jaw having a projection received in a corresponding one of the plurality of slots such that the jaws are coupled for co-rotation with the collar, a mandrel moveable relative to the housing between a retracted position and an extended position, the mandrel engageable with the jaws to expand the jaws in response to movement of the mandrel to the extended position, and a cone received within the plurality of jaws and engageable with inner surfaces of the plurality of jaws. The mandrel is configured to engage the cone to move the cone with the mandrel to expand the jaws as the mandrel moves toward the extended position, and a rotation mechanism is configured to incrementally rotate the collar.

摘要： A retain-and-release member, which is coupled to a punch holder of a punch assembly, engages a punch tip against an end of the holder, such that a working portion of the tip extends from the end. A punch guide sidewall of the assembly includes an aperture aligned with an actuation interface of the retain-and-release member, when the punch holder and the engaged punch tip are slidably engaged within a guide bore formed by the punch guide sidewall. The aperture provides access for applying a force, to the actuation interface, in order to disengage the retain-and-release member from the punch tip, while the punch holder remains within the guide bore of the assembly. Following the removal, the same punch tip, or another, may be inserted into the guide bore and into engagement with the retain-and-release member.

摘要： Machines for bending profiles, metal sheets and the like are provided. Such machines include those having a structure or frame and a bending device with three rollers. The axis (x1) of the first roller is fixed relative to the structure or frame, while the axes (x2, x3) of the second and third rollers are movable relative to each other, and hence each relative to the axis (x1) of the first roller, so as to define a curved path with an adjustable radius of curvature along which the material to be bent is caused to move passing between said rollers. The bending device may further include an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the position of the axes (x2, x3) of the second and third rollers with two degrees of freedom. The adjustment mechanism may include a pair of tilting arms hinged to the structure or frame so as to tilt about respective fixed axes of rotation (x4, x5) oriented parallel to the axes (x1, x2, x3) of the three rollers. The axes (x2, x3) of the second and third rollers may be guided each by a respective tilting arm along a respective direction of translation (y1, y2) which is fixed relative to that tilting arm.
