摘要： The present invention relates to an automatic control system for a backward flow forming process, the automatic control system including: a mandrel (10) for concentrically supporting a material (12); a forming member (20) including a plurality of forming rollers (22) disposed at a periphery of the mandrel (10), in which each of the forming rollers (22) includes a motion device; a detection member (30) for detecting a signal associated with a motion of the forming member (20) corresponding to the material (12); and a controller (40) for controlling the forming roller (22) to induce a variation in a depth at at least two set points while transferring the forming roller (22) backward. Accordingly, a length deviation caused by a variation in a thickness is prevented in a backward flow forming process of a workpiece to produce a product in which a thickness of a portion of the product varies.

A workblank is placed in a resistance furnace to heated to 600-650° C., is maintained at this temperature for 0.5-1 h and is then taken out of the resistance furnace; after the workblank is heated, the inner diameter of the workblank becomes larger; the heated workblank is installed on a mandrel, and spinning is started when a maximum clearance between the workblank and the mandrel is less than 0.5 mm; the mandrel and the spinning rollers do not need to be preheated, and a multi-pass spinning process is adopted, such that the workblank can deform more uniformly. A vertical spinning lathe is used for spinning, the mandrel is easy to change, and the workblank is easy to assemble and disassemble.

摘要： A multi-axis roll-forming system for forming a stepped diameter in a cylinder includes a support that spins about a rotation axis while supporting a workpiece that includes the cylinder. A first actuator translates a first roller perpendicularly to the rotation axis. A second actuator moves a multi-axis roller radially outward, relative to the rotation axis, and upward along the rotation axis. The system may also include a first roller arm to which the multi-axis roller is coupled. The first roller arm is connected to a pivot joint having a pivot axis that is perpendicular to the rotation axis. The second actuator may include a linear-drive actuator that is coupled to the first roller arm and extends along the rotation axis to force the multi-axis roller to pivot about the pivot axis.
