    • A modular coatings sprayer includes a valve housing in which there is defined a nozzle orifice and a valve-shaft bore opposite the nozzle orifice. A housing side wall extends between the orifice and bore and defines an internal fluid passage. The side wall includes an opening through which pressurized fluid is introduced into the fluid passage. A valve including a valve shaft with opposed back and nozzle-closing ends is sealably supported within the bore such that (i) the nozzle-closing end is situated within the housing and the back end is situated external to the housing and (ii) the valve shaft can axially reciprocated between a first position in which the nozzle-closing end does not seal the nozzle orifice and a nozzle-closing position in which the nozzle-closing end seals the nozzle orifice such that pressurized fluid within the fluid passage is prevented from exiting through the nozzle orifice. The valve housing is configured for selective cooperative coupling to a valve-actuating assembly having a body and a lever mounted for pivotable movement relative to the body. The lever selectively engages a portion of the valve shaft external to the valve housing such that (i) when the lever is pivoted in a first direction, the valve shaft is axially displaced in order to open the nozzle orifice and (ii) when the lever is pivoted in a second direction, the valve shaft is axially displaced toward the nozzle-closing position.

    • Controlling switch structure of an atomizer handle, including a handle main body, a trigger, a stop lever, a long pivot pin, a short pivot pin, a controlling pin, a compression spring and a sealing cap. A top edge of the front end of the main body is disposed with a pivot seat. A pivot block is disposed on rear side of the pivot seat. A lower edge of the front end of the trigger is formed with a pivot hole. The top face of the front section of the trigger is formed with a rectangular perforation. Two sides of rear end of the rectangular perforation are respectively disposed with two arched retaining blocks. One end of the stop lever is disposed with two pivot plates. The other end thereof is disposed with an engaging section. A lower section of the controlling pin is disposed with a toothed flange. A large water sealing ring is inlaid on upper side of the toothed flange. A middle section of the controlling pin is formed with an annular groove. The upper section of the controlling pin is inlaid with two small water sealing rings. A stepped fitting boss is disposed at the center of the sealing cap. The controlling pin is pressed by both of the resilient force of the compression spring and the water pressure so that the water can be reliably sealed.

    • A firefighting nozzle comprises an elongated barrel having a inlet opening at one end for engaging a source of fluid under pressure and a discharge opening at an opposite end for engaging a discharge element for dispensing the fluid under pressure. A valve arrangement includes a slide valve element slidably mounted within the barrel for reciprocating movement along the length of the barrel to adjust the flow of fluid through the barrel. The nozzle includes a pistol grip trigger assembly mounted on the barrel that includes a segment gear pivotably for engaging a toothed surface of the slide valve element so that rotation of the segment gear causes reciprocation of the slide valve element. A four-bar linkage arrangement is incorporated between a manually actuated trigger to translate depressing the trigger to controllable reciprocation of the slide valve element. The four-bar linkage provides a mechanical advantage that allows the firefighter to easily control the trigger and thus the fluid discharge from the nozzle.
