    • The Tactile Sudoku Game Display for the Blind has 4 control buttons used by the blind game player to manually direct the attached computer to change the current game square up and down and left and right. The Game Display has 27 electromechanically raised and lowered dots similar to Braille dots arranged in 3 squares each with 9 dots arranged in 3 rows and 3 columns. The raised dots in the Game Display's lower-right square communicate the current status of 1 of the 81 Sudoku game squares to the blind game player by touch. And 1 raised dot in each of the Game Display's other 2 squares communicates the column number and row number of the current game square to the blind game player by touch. The game author's given starting game squares have only 1 of the 9 dots raised; and, the blind game player touches and depresses all but 1 of the 9 dots in each remaining game square to complete the game.

    • The present invention provides games for promoting mental stimulation of individuals. In one aspect, the game includes random selection of activities to be performed by an individual for causing mental stimulation of the individual. The random activities are particularly designed to cause mental stimulation of individuals having impaired mental faculties. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a game. The game includes a first, second and third set of cards each set having a first indicia and instructions directing a user to perform an activity related to a category of the card set, wherein the categories of each card set are different. The game further includes a die having multiple surfaces, wherein the die includes at least one surface having the first indicia, at least one surface having the second indicia and at least one surface having the third indicia.

    • The GOLF DISC AND FLYING DISC AND MULTIPURPOSE PICK UP TOOL is a lightweight, collapsible, segmented shaft fitted with a durable suction cup. The suction cup provides a vacuum adhesion on either side, or any location, on the golf disc or flying disc or other generally flat and smooth objects. The disc or object can then be picked up (retrieved) from any surface or obstacle within reach. A flick of the finger to the suction cup edge breaks the vacuum and the tool and disc or object are separated. The tool can be deployed and used with one hand. The tool can be carried and used as extended or folded and stowed.

    • A portable medical unit that is used during the medical procedures of extracting blood from and giving needles to children. The unit provides a concealed work area with storage pockets; a vinyl cushion arm rest; and straps to retain the child's arm during the above noted procedures. The unit features distraction elements such as a painted clown's face and an opening through the mouth where the child inserts his/her arm. When not in use, the work area remains concealed with a flap that opens only when the child's arm is inserted into the mouth. Also featured is the clown's hair which is made of synthetic material, is brightly colored, and offers a tactile distraction. The nose of the clown connects to a pumping system which, when the child squeezes inflates a balloon that is connected to the pumping system by a tube. The balloon can be removed and given to the child as a reward for good behavior. When open the two forms are secured in place by locking hinges. When closed the unit is retained shut by clasps and carried by a handle. The unit can be rested on a table in a hospital, a clinic, a child's home, or a doctor's office for easy use.

    • A puzzle comprises a cube having translucent faces with a light source behind each face. Gravity-sensitive or orientation-sensitive switches such as mercury switches, are connected to an electronic circuit acting to compare the switching states and switching movements of the switches with a programmed sequence held in a memory to determine whether and which of the light sources to illuminate. In use of the puzzle the faces will light up when a predetermined sequence of rotations about three orthogonal axes are performed correctly to match the switching sequences with the stored sequence.
