摘要： A circular game board foldable into thirds for storage, comprising a circular playing surface bounded by a generally tubular member affixed around the periphery of the playing surface. An elongate spring-like member is disposed in the tubular member, and an appropriate device is used for securing the ends of the spring-like member together so as to create an endless ring. This spring-like member is preferably in the form of a length of thin metal or plastic, whose ends have been joined together after insertion into the tubular member to form the endless ring serving to keep the playing surface taut. Quite advantageously, the game board is readily foldable into a smaller configuration for storage.

The game board has a plurality of sockets for holding either covers, projectile coins, or player tokens, and a smaller plurality of those sockets have holes through the game board. Supporting the game board from underneath is a deflection structure that deflects projected tokens which fall though the holes and urges them out through elongated openings at the bottom of each wall. Projectors, such as catapults, are mounted slidingly on each perimeter wall. Players have covers with which they can cover a portion of the holes on their “properties. The board has designated paths for player token movement according to turn and a die role. An elevated socket is provided. The rules for an exemplary game to be played with the game board are explained.

摘要： A parlor game is played on a mat having a rectangular playing panel on which a playing field is marked and a pocket located along and extending from one margin of the playing panel. Along its margins, the playing panel is fitted with stiffening bars which have their ends mitered to conform to each other at the corners of the panel. The bars, when the playing panel is spread over a supporting surface, maintain the panel in an open condition and prevent it from gathering when playing pieces are moved over its playing field. These playing pieces fit into the pockets when the game is not in progress. While the mitered ends of the stiffening bars are adjacent, they are nevertheless detached, and this enables the playing panel to fold along diagonal lines that pass between the mitered ends of adjacent stiffening bars. Indeed, the playing panel folds into a highly compact triangular form, whereupon the pocket, with the playing pieces in it, is folded over onto the folded playing panel, and the folded playing panel and pocket are rolled into a tight bundle.
