摘要： A striking device such as a racquet or tool has a head portion for striking an object and an elongate handgrip with an exterior shell defining an elongate ventilation chamber having a set of air holes for ventilation purposes and to create enhanced gripping ability. An air scoop section is connected to a head end of the shell and forms two air inlets on opposite sides of the handgrip. The air scoop section includes a partition separating the two air inlets, this partition having airflow directing surfaces on opposite sides thereof. These surfaces can direct outside air in a longitudinal direction into the ventilation chamber.

摘要： This invention claims new methods to make arm braces that maintain the users' arms straight and fully extended and are also comfortable to wear even in hot weather, by making the braces with nonuniform thickness, their inside surface contoured, and providing them with a plurality of holes penetrating through their inner cushioning liner which are aligned with a plurality of holes penetrating through their outer layer in order to create ventilating channels to allow air to circulate directly between the user's arm and outside the device. Embodiments of the arm braces made by these new methods can be used as golf swing training devices that maintain the golfers' lead arms straight and fully extended and are also comfortable to wear even in hot weather. One embodiment can be described as a clamshell tubular device comprising two partially tubular sections which are hinged lengthwise of the arm and of which at least one section is inflexible lengthwise of the arm, another embodiment can be described as a sheet which is wrapped on the lead arm until it becomes inflexible lengthwise of the arm and another embodiment can be described as a partially tubular device that is inflexible lengthwise of the arm.

The high shear forces are due primarily to the frictional properties of the elastomeric materials, not a mechanical interlock of the stems, such as on a mechanical fastener.

A surface of the underlining sleeve is covered with rubber tapes by spirally wrapping at least two rubber tapes on the underlining sleeve. A lower end of the underlining sleeve is encircled by a fastening member such that the rubber tapes are secured to the underlining sleeve without concerns of falling off. Through characteristics of the rubber tapes as being shock-absorbent, waterproof, anti-slip and abrasion resistant, a golfer is less subject to muscle tissue and arm joint injuries resulted from shock generated by impact between the golf club and a golf ball when hitting the golf ball, and the golf club is also less likely to slip off hands of the golfer.
