摘要： A bat 10 for playing ball games comprises a handle 12 and a ball-striking head 14 having a monolithic structure comprising a pair of spaced apart outer lattices 16 which define rigid, unstressed ball-striking surfaces and a plurality of discrete internal struts 26 which are integrally moulded with the lattices so as to extend between the lattices. Each lattice includes a distributed and connected network of alternating nodal areas 22 and unobstructed openings 24. Each nodal area comprises a web having an irregular outer surface provided by perforations in the web which reduce an unpleasant high-pitched noise generated when a resilient ball having a smooth outer surface is struck by the bat.

The first base surface and the first support surface cooperate to form a first hitting surface that is configured to contact the object during play.

The bumper guard is affixed on the curved section of the racket frame, which surrounds the ball racket face having a plurality of holes on the ball-hitting area, and then two sides of the frame converge to form the shaft. The end of the shaft has a handle. The design of the ball racket with bumper guard can protect the racket frame from many scratches and bumps against the wall or the ground during ball play. This not only can help extend the service life of a normal racket, but also reduces the chance of wrist injury for players.

The handle portion has a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end is coupled to the head portion. The proximal end defines a recess, and includes a projection spaced apart from a fulcrum. The recess is sized to removably receive a portion of the cap. The projection is configured to catch a portion of an underside of the cap and the fulcrum is configured to bear against the top of the cap as one or both of the handle portion and the bottle serve as a lever for prying the cap off of the bottle.

This is useful in physical therapy for persons handicapped in one arm or otherwise not able to use that arm with normal facility; and it is also useful to provide the normal individual having strength and skill with one arm a method of increasing the strength and skill of the other arm.
