摘要： A method and apparatus for forming a sporting racquet handle wherein the racquet has a rectangular cross-section handle base. The apparatus comprises a first sleeve portion having a first sleeve interior adapted to engage upon the handle base and a first sleeve exterior shaped to form a first handgrip portion, a second sleeve portion having a second sleeve interior adapted to engage upon the handle base and a second sleeve exterior shaped to form a second handgrip portion, and connectors for securing the first sleeve portion to the second sleeve portion around the handle base so as to mate the first handgrip portion with the second handgrip portion to form a continuous handgrip around the handle base. The method comprises securing a first sleeve portion around the handle base and securing a second sleeve portion around the handle base to as to form a continuous handgrip around the handle base.

摘要： The present invention relates to a portable strength training device which can be adapted to various sports and can be utilized in almost any location. More, specifically present invention is a weighted elongated tubular member which includes connectors for attachment of various balls and/or sporting equipment. The training device is adjustable through the use of various sized hollow tubes of different lengths and/or diameters which allow for the addition of one or more types of weight material within the hollow lumen. Various different sports objects, such as balls, golf club handles, tennis racket handles, baseball bats and the like can be secured to one of the distal ends of the hollow tubes. Clips hooks or the like may be secured to the opposite distal end of the tube for anchoring the device.

The wall of the impact body is of a resiliently compressible material and defines a convexly curved impact zone IB. The ball further includes a flight control assembly (114) including a tail (50) comprising flexible streamers (52), a spacer stem (54) and an anchor fitting (126) for anchoring the spacer stem to the impact body. The configuration of the impact body is such that the impact zone compresses to a minimum compression depth of 12 mm and the impact body bounces to a height of at least 100 cm when the impact body is subjected to a drop test wherein the impact body is dropped onto a test impact surface.

The protector includes an upper arm protector portion, a lower arm protector portion, and a protective arm hinge overlying a gap between the upper and lower arm protector portions. The arm hinge includes a forward-facing floater pad, a medial extension, and a lateral extension. The medial and lateral extensions are slidably coupled to at least one of the upper and lower arm protector portions to guide forward movement of the floater pad during rotation of the lower arm protector portion toward the upper arm protector portion, and to guide rearward movement of the floater pad during rotation of the lower arm protector portion away from the upper arm protector portion. The arm protector can form part of a goaltender chest protector to provide an integrated system allowing fluid movement of the wearer's arm with enhanced protection to the elbow region.
