摘要： A medicine ball includes a central member with a pair of opposing concave sides. Further, convex attachments are each adapted to mate with the concave sides of the central member to form a sphere. These convex attachments are fastened together to the concave sides by a pair of fasteners, such as zippers. Additionally, attachment ports which can receive an exercise attachment are each positioned within the central member. Examples of exercise attachments include a barbell bar, a handgrip, and a pair of roller pairs, among others. In an alternative embodiment the attachment ports are positioned within the convex attachments. Further, an article of clothing has a receptacle to receive the convex attachments.

An improved joint-based connector apparatus is further described herein which may enable the improved resistance-based fitness apparatus described herein to be transformed into multiple temporary yet stable shapes with subsections that are either freely moving, immobilized in a fixed position, or a combination thereof. This improved joint may connect one or more objects while also providing for three-dimensional non-coplanar movement that may be selectively locked or unlocked at a variety of angles by a single activating action (e.g., pressing a button). The improved joint may also be fashioned into useful devices in various other arts beyond the fitness arts.

The foot harness includes a back rigid section, two side rigid sections, and a front rigid section. A harness coupling is fixed to at least one of the rigid sections. One or more side straps couple the back rigid section to the two side rigid sections and couple the front rigid section to the two side rigid sections. A bottom strap couples the two side rigid sections. A top strap also couples the two side rigid sections. A dorsal strap may be fixed to the front rigid section and looped over the top strap. One or more of the side and top straps may be adjustable. The undulation rope includes a rope coupling fixed adjacent an end of the rope to provide a detachable connection to the harness coupling.

摘要： An exercise machine with a bench press and a pair of weight stacks, which are operationally connected to a lifting bar of a barbell. Pushing motion on the lifting bar transmits the force to a series of wheels connected by flexible bands and to a pair of weight stacks positioned behind the bench press. The weight members of the weight stack are connected by pins, such that upward movement of the uppermost weight members causes pulling force to be applied to successive lower weight members one at a time, thereby allowing incremental increase in the resistance force to the lifting motion of the user.

摘要： In some embodiments, a battle rope strength trainer device is provided. The battle rope strength trainer device provides a multifunction exercise device that combines strength building properties of body weight strength exercises with the cardiovascular training of battle rope oscillation exercises in one product. In one embodiment, the battle rope strength trainer device includes an anchor, a rope and a mounting device. The rope includes a first end coupled to the anchor and two free ends. The first end is attachable to a structure via the anchor and the two free ends are positioned opposite to the first end. The mounting device is coupled to the structure above the anchor. In that regard, the mounting device is adapted to receive a portion of the rope associated with each of the two free ends to enable movement of the rope for a plurality of exercises.
