摘要： In some embodiments, a medicinal storage container includes: a desiccant unit including external walls forming a gas-impermeable barrier around an interior desiccant region and including an aperture; a heating element; a controller operably attached to the heating element; a cooling unit; a compressor system including at least one evaporator coil unit, the compressor operably connected to the controller; a vapor conduit, the vapor conduit attached to a the desiccant unit at a first end, the vapor conduit attached to the evaporative cooling unit at a second end, the vapor conduit forming an internal, gas-impermeable passageway between the desiccant unit and the cooling unit; a vapor control unit attached to the vapor conduit and operably attached to the controller; and a medicinal storage unit including external walls encircling a medicinal storage region including a temperature sensor operably connected to the controller.

摘要： In some embodiments, alerts are sent to appropriate parties if an insulated container is not properly packed out to insure the approximate safe temperature of the materials. In other embodiments, a countdown timer is used to keep track of the time that the biologic has been in transit, and ensure that the amount of time does not exceed the known shelf life of the biologic. In still other embodiments, the payload container is equipped with its own sensors, such as temperature sensors, and communications devices, such as a close range communication device, capable of transmitting information regarding a range of parameters, including, but not limited to, temperature, humidity, location and time, from the payload container to an end user. In other embodiments, shielding and/or radiation sensors are included in insulated shipping or storage containers, or payload containers, to shield and monitor the radiation exposure of the payload.

Releasable fastening element or elements enable the retaining receptacle to be securely fastened to one or more fixed position crib elements to fixedly hold the retaining receptacle in an upright position at a position in the crib adjacent and accessible to a child placed therein and a separate heatable or coolable insert element with integrated removal facilitating structure is placed within the retaining receptacle, below and/or around the bottle to maintain heating/cooling temperature of the feeding fluid.

Each medicine dispensing unit dispenses at least one medicine to be consumed based on an input provided by the user identification information. A single receiving unit that collects one or more medicines that are dispensed by the one or more medicine dispensing units based on the input. One or more uniformly configured tubes operatively connect each of the medicine dispensing units to the single receiving unit.

As a result, the container may be in direct contact with the fluid without any flexible membrane or bag there between. For example, the fluid container may include one or more of matched pairs of recesses for physical manipulation of the container, stiffening ribs extending between the recesses, and input/output assemblies acting as inputs for fluid into the container, outputs of fluid from the container, and vents for pressure equalization of the container.

摘要： An infant pacifier is provided with a nipple having a fillable interior volume, whereby fluid can be communicated into the nipple interior and thereafter frozen. The nipple secures to a pacifier guard that prevents swallowing of the device, while the distal end of the nipple includes an aperture for communicating the frozen contents of the nipple interior into the infant's mouth as the fluid melts. The device soothes the infant's gums while frozen, provides a compressible pacifier structure, and further provides a means to communicate flavored water into the infant's mouth for calming and enjoyment purposes.

More specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and devices used while sleeping for automatically detecting an imminent hot flash and for preventing and/or controlling the symptoms associated with hot flashes, such as an elevated body temperature, sweating and/or chills so that the person using the system remains sleeping and is not disturbed by the hot flash onset. Preferred embodiments include an automated body cooling system comprising: an elongated cloth bag comprising a lower open-ended chamber for enveloping a person's body and an upper closed chamber for receiving a flow of air from a fan; a fan operably connected with the upper chamber of the bag to provide a stream of air into the bag for over inflating the bag to provide positive pressure; a sensor for detecting at least one of relative humidity, skin temperature, or sternal skin conductance information; and a control module in operable communication with the sensor for receiving and processing the information from the sensor and for turning the fan on and off in response to the information received being above or below a desired set point.
