摘要： A surgical platform system facilitating manipulation of a patient support thereby is provided. The surgical platform system can include a support supporting a linkage portion, a first platform portion, and a second platform portion relative to the ground. The linkage portion can include a base pivotally attached to the support, a first connector pivotally supported by the base, and a first support portion and a second support portion pivotally supported by the first connector. The first platform portion can be supported by the first support portion and the second support portion, and the second platform can be supported by the base. Pivotal movement of the first platform portion relative to the base via pivotal movement of the connector, and pivotal movement of the second platform portion relative to the support via pivotal movement of the base can serve to separately articulate the first platform portion and the second platform portion relative to one another.

摘要： A patient support apparatus for supporting a patient in a prone position during a surgical procedure is provided, including an open fixed frame suspended above a floor and a pair of spaced opposed radially sliding joints cooperating with the frame, each joint including a virtual pivot point and an arc of motion spaced from the virtual pivot point, the joints being movable along the arc providing a pivot ship mechanism for a pair of pelvic pads attached to the joints. A base for supporting and suspending a patient support structure above the floor, for supporting a patient during a surgical procedure, the base including a pair of spaced opposed vertical translation subassemblies reversibly attachable to a patient support structure, a cross-bar, and a rotation subassembly having two degrees of rotational freedom; wherein a location of each vertical translation subassembly is substantially constant during operation of the patient support structure.

摘要： Disclosed is a disposable sterile device for supporting the position of an extremity during surgery. The device comprises a base and a support panel. The support panel is for receiving a limb of a patient thereon. The top surface of the support panel is transversely concave whereby, upon the reception of the limb thereon, the contour of the limb substantially matches with that of the upper surface of the support panel. The support panel is disposed in operative communication with the base whereby, the support panel is, with respect to the base, adapted to be longitudinally adjustably inclined and elevated. The support panel is further adapted to be transversely tiltable.
