摘要： A hair piece (1) comprises a foundation (3) having a boundary area (4) extending along a circumference (7); hairs (2) attached to the foundation; and at least one securing mechanism for securing the hair piece to natural hairs of its bearer. The securing mechanism comprises at least one slot (6) in the boundary area, which extends along the circumference and ends in the boundary area in both directions. An adhesive surface (8) extends from the slot towards the circumference. Hairs are attached to the foundation next to the adhesive surface in both directions of the circumference. A section (10) of self-adhesive hair band has an adhesive back to be glued to hairs of the bearer pulled through the slot and pressed against the adhesive surface. This section of self-adhesive hair band is permanently connected to the boundary area at that side of the slot opposite to the adhesive surface.

摘要： Some implementations of this disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for applying weft hair extensions to a wearer's head by attaching a hair extension receiving apparatus to the wearer's hair. In some implementations, the hair extension receiving apparatus can include combs, clips, or any other attachment apparatus on one side to attach the receiving apparatus to the wearer's hair. The other side of the hair extension receiving apparatus includes a plurality of hooks. Once the receiving apparatus is attached to the wearer's hair (or before), the weft of hair extensions is inserted on the hooks of the hair extension receiving apparatus. By using implementations of the hair extension receiving apparatuses of the present disclosure, the time to apply hair extensions may be reduced and sewing or gluing may be eliminated.

Exemplary steps may include attaching a plurality of wefts together to form at least one first and second hair flap having a top and bottom end; attaching the top end of the first hair flap to the top end of the second hair flap; and folding over the first hair flap to form a U shaped hair cluster thereby sandwiching a filament between the first and second hair flap. Certain embodiments may create the extension device using one hair flap. Additional steps may include using thread to attach the plurality of wefts together, and positioning the seams of the wefts so that all of the seams of the hair cluster inside the hair cluster are adjacent to the filament. Also a zig-zag stitch may be used to sew the plurality of wefts together. The resulting hair extension device may be reversible or be made using lace.
