摘要： An agricultural material baling system comprises, in one example, a bale forming component configured to form a bale of agricultural material from a terrain, and a control system configured to determine that the bale is to be released from the baling system onto the terrain, determine that a current location of the baling system has a slope above a threshold, determine a different location, that is spaced apart from the current location, for releasing the bale onto the terrain, and provide an output indicative of the different location. In one example, the control system is configured to receive yield data indicative of a volume of agricultural material in a path of the baler and to control the baling system based on the yield data. In one example, the yield data is obtained from a raking operation that rakes the agricultural material into a windrow.

The method uses an empty baler tare weight and a full baler weight to determine a raw bale weight. The cosine of the slope upon which the baler sits is then calculated based upon the empty baler weight as it sits and the empty baler tare weight. The cosine of the angle of slope and raw bale weight are then used to determine an actual bale weight. Further steps are provided for compensating in the tare weight of the baler for the weight of wrapping material and/or preservative consumed in the formation of each bale.

To ensure that the round bale (42a) is transferred reliably and as quickly as possible to the wrapper (3) by simple means and without the expenditure of a large amount of force, it is proposed according to the invention that the chute device (20) be adjustable. Due to a steeper position of the chute device (20), the round bale (42a) rolls quickly out of the swivel zone (43) of the round baler (1), such that the rear housing (10) may be closed just as quickly as with round balers (1) operating alone.

摘要： A rotobaler is provided with an inclination sensor that recognizes the inclination of the rotobaler, to the side as well as in the longitudinal direction. The inclination sensor generates a signal that is processed by a computer that controls a display arrangement in order to indicate whether a bale that is to be unloaded from the rotobaler can be ejected from the rotobaler, as presently positioned. If the inclination is such that a safe ejection of the bale is not possible, the computer sends out a signal that locks an outlet arrangement for the bale, or that steers the rotobaler in such a way that the bale is deposited with its longitudinal axis parallel to the inclination of the slope.

摘要： A rotobaler is provided with an inclination sensor that recognizes an inclination to the side as well as in the longitudinal direction. This inclination sensor generates a signal coupled to a computer that, in turn, controls a display arrangement in order to indicate whether a base that is to be unloaded from the rotobaler can be safely unloaded considering the existing inclination of the rotobaler. In the event an unsafe inclination is present, either the computer sends out a control signal which blocks an operation for depositing the bale on the ground, or causes the bale to be oriented in such a way during the discharge process that the longitudinal centerline of the bale is parallel to the inclination of the slope.
