摘要： A harvester capable of autonomous travel in a field includes: a harvesting unit that harvests a crop from the field; a conveyance device that conveys, toward the rear of a harvester body, a whole culm of the harvested crop harvested by the harvesting unit; a detection sensor that detects a drive speed of the conveyance device; and a clog determining unit that determines a clog of the harvested crop in the conveyance device on the basis of the drive speed. The clog determining unit outputs a vehicle stop command that stops the harvester body when the drive speed becomes lower than a pre-set first threshold during the autonomous travel.

摘要： Apparatus, systems and methods are provided for monitoring yield while harvesting grain. Grain released from paddles on the clean grain elevator chain of a harvester contacts a flow sensor which reports the rate of grain flow through the clean grain elevator. In some embodiments a brush is mounted to the chain and disposed to clean the flow sensor surface. In other embodiments a bucket mounted to the clean grain elevator chain releases grain against the flow sensor at a rate dependent on a grain property.

摘要： An inclined conveyor for a combine harvester has two drive elements which define a conveying direction and revolve in a conveying duct. Conveying duct is divided into an overshot return duct and an undershot conveying duct by a separating element situated between the upper run and the lower run of the drive element. Drive element is interconnected by carriers situated transversely with respect to conveying direction that convey harvested crop in undershot conveying duct. The difference in speed between the carrier bars and harvested crop stream is eliminated, and at least reduced, by additional acceleration of harvested crop stream. Carrier bars serve as carriers, and as acceleration elements for the harvested crop. That is because the cross section of each of the carrier bars viewed in conveying direction, occupies at least 30% of the smallest internal cross section of undershot conveying duct.

The sprocket includes a plurality of teeth configured to engage the chain or toothed belt. The assembly further includes a shield assembly covering at least a portion of the sprocket. The shield assembly has an interior groove formed therein defining an enclosed interior space. Each of the teeth of the sprocket rotate through the enclosed interior space during a full rotation of the sprocket.

The unique slat also provides additional support to the chain. Because the chain rides on the rear of the elongated section of the slat, the slat contacts the feed house, rather than the chain, reducing chain wear, overheating and lubricant evacuation. Because of the new slat configuration, the slats can be secured to the chain with removable securing means, enabling easier replacement of an individual slat if necessary.

摘要： A combine chain and slat crop conveyor includes a plurality of feed drum chain guides. Each chain guide is a generally cylindrical ring which encircles and is attached to the conveyor feed drum and is shaped as a “W” in cross section. Each chain guide includes two outer flanges which extend away from the feed drum surface at an angle, e.g. in a range from 20 to 70 degrees from parallel with the drum surface. The angled outer flanges insure that, as a chain starts to wander out of its path, it will get tighter, which forces it back toward the center of the guide ring. Each guide ring also has an elevated center portion which directly contacts the chain rollers, thus providing a rolling surface for the chain rollers, which puts all relative rolling motion and metal to metal contact between chain roller and roller pin.

摘要： A crop unloader system comprising: an elevator assembly, a boom assembly, a flexible drive, and a tensioning assembly. The elevator assembly has a frame, an elevator drive and drive motor, and an elevator drive output. The boom assembly has a frame connected to the elevator frame at a boom pivot axis to rotate through a range of motion, and an unloader drive input. The flexible drive is operatively connected between the elevator drive output and the unloader drive input. The tensioning assembly has a tensioner link and a control link that are pivotally to each other and with one of the two links each pivotally connected to one of the boom and elevator frame. An idler wheel is on the tensioner link. The tensioning assembly maintains a tension load on the endless flexible drive within a predetermined range, throughout the range of motion of the boom frame.
