摘要： The invention concerns a process and a circular knitting machine for the production of knit goods with combed-in fibers, in which an amount of fibers synchronous with the needle cylinder rotatory speed is fed to a teasing cylinder rotating at high speed, transferred by the latter to the comb-in zone, and taken from the needles in the comb-in zone without contacting the teasing cylinder. To prevent the development of areas overfilled with fibers or short of fibers in the finished knit goods on account of the contact-less fiber feed, during or before abrupt reductions or increases in the rotatory speed of the needle cylinder, at least temporarily smaller or larger amounts of fibers are fed to the comb-in zone than corresponds to the synchronous amount of fibers.

The patterning system comprises ferromagnetic control elements associated with the knitting tools, an electromagnetic control pole which can be excited according to a pattern, and at least one permanent holding pole, the selection of the knitting tools being performed by relative motion between the control elements and the control pole and the holding pole during which motion the control elements adhere or do not adhere to the holding pole depending on the state of excitation of the control pole. To prevent the control elements from having to be already swung or shifted in the area of the control pole, the control pole is designed as a pole for only addressing address sections of the control elements in order to magnetize them, according to the pattern, to remanent north poles or south poles, while the holding pole is designed as a sorting pole in order to attract or repel the address sections according to their remanent magnetization.

摘要： Apparatus for feeding a plurality of yarn, sliver or fibrous materials to a textile machine, comprising: a plurality of stationary supply packages on which said materials are wound; a stationary endless track having at least a working and a return section; and a plurality of feeding elements. Every feeding element is associated with one of said supply packages, wherein said feeding elements are arranged to run around said track in series in such a manner, that the distances between the feeding elements and the associated ones of said supply packages become gradually and alternately smaller and larger during successive runs of said feeding elements on said track. Said materials are held by said feeding elements when the relevant feeding elements pass through said return section, and are releasable for processing by said textile machine when the relevant feeding elements pass through said working section. A plurality of automatically operating and stationary storage devices are arranged in the path between the said feeding elements and the associated supply packages for the intermediate storage of all quantities of the materials which may result from a reduction of the distance between a feeding element and the associated supply package, and for the delivery of said stored quantities, if said distances again become gradually larger.
