    • A pitch system for a wind turbine installation having an electrically driven pitch drive associated with each rotor blade and an electric motor arranged in a rotating part of the wind turbine installation for blade adjustments. A power and control unit is associated with the motor and has line connections for the transmission of power and control data from the power and control unit to the motor and vice versa. The line connections are passed via a first rotating bushing arranged at a connecting point between the rotating part and an axially adjacent stationary region. The pitch system also includes second rotating bushing which operates mechanically and electrically separately from the first rotating bushing and is connectable to the power and control unit and to the motor for maintaining reliable transmission of the power and control data if the first rotating bushing fails.

    • This disclosure relates to a device for optically measuring the curvature of a rotor blade (18) of a wind power plant (1). The rotor blade is fixed at the blade root (23) to a rotor hub (8) or a rotor (6). The device includes at least one light-emitting external marking (33) fixed to the rotor blade (18) at a distance from the blade root (23), at least one camera (27) fixed to the rotor (6) for capturing the light (35) emitted from the external marking (33). The device provides first location information as a function of the relative position of the camera (27) with respect to the external marking (33). An evaluating device (37) is coupled to the camera (27), and a position detection means detects the relative location of the camera (27) with respect to the blade root (23) and provides second location information as a function of said relative location. The evaluating device (37) determines at least one variable characterizing the curvature of the rotor blade (18) while evaluating the position information.

    • The invention relates to a rotor for a wind turbine of the type having a rotor hub (8) and a set of rotor blades (9). Each rotor blade (9) is rotatably mounted on the rotor hub (8) for rotation about a blade axis (11). A threaded spindle mechanism (13) interconnects the rotor blade (9) and the rotor hub (8). The threaded spindle mechanism (13) includes a spindle nut (32), a threaded spindle (31) and a drive (21) mounted on the rotor blade (9) adjacent a transition between the rotor hub (8) and the rotor blade (9). The drive (21) is rotatable together with the rotor blade (9) about the blade axis (11) relative to the rotor hub (8) by actuation of the threaded spindle mechanism (13).
