The esterified carboxyl groups are activated in the alcohol component by a substituent which has a negative inductive effect.

摘要： The heat-hardenable binder mixture based on organic resins comprises an organic resin having primary and/or secondary and, if appropriate, also additional tertiary amino groups and a cross-linking agent based on an organic compound containing at least 2 carbalkoxymethyl groups. The binder mixture can additionally contain pigments, fillers, cross-linking catalysts, corrosion inhibitors and further finish auxiliaries. The binder mixture is used in a process for preparing coatings by applying a coating agent in the form of a film to a substrate and subsequently hardening the film by baking.

摘要： A process for introducing one or more threads into a texturizing nozzle, in which the texturizing nozzle, together with the inlet member, is first brought into a position in which the thread is led transversely past and in the immediate vicinity of the texturizing nozzle, the thread is sucked against the nozzle with the orifice of the inlet member enlarged, immediately after being sucked against the texturizing nozzle the thread is cut beyond the nozzle so that the cut end is sucked back into the nozzle, the suction supply required for the sucking-in is replaced by pressurized fluid texturizing medium, and the cross-section of the inlet orifice of the texturizing device is reduced to a value advantageous for steady state operation.An apparatus for carrying out the above process, comprising a pivotable texturizing nozzle with an inlet member of variable cross-section, and a suction device which permits the pressure to be reduced, relative to atmospheric pressure, at the inlet member of the texturizing nozzle, is also disclosed.

At least one film pack which is made of water-soluble films, sealed on all sides and filled with a pigment paste is immersed in the water-diluted coating agent, and after dissolution of the pack, the paste is uniformly dispersed. The pigment paste comprises:I. inorganic and/or organic pigments and/or;II. extenders and/or fillers, components I and II being dispersed in components III and IV;III. 10-80% by weight of the sum of the amounts by weight of components I and II of monohydric primary, secondary or tertiary aliphatic straight-chain or branched alkanols with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkylene glycols, alkylene glycol monoalkyl ethers with 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical, polyalkylene glycols, polyalkylene glycol monoalkyl ethers with 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical, alicyclic alcohols, araliphatic alcohols or unsaturated alcohols; andIV. 5-20% by weight, relative to the content of the components I and II, of wetting agents, dispersing agents and/or emulsifiers which are soluble in component III.

摘要： The invention relates to unsaturated homo- and/or copolymerizable polyesters which have been prepared from an alcohol component comprising a multivalent alcohol, a carboxylic acid component comprising a multivalent carboxylic acid and optionally, hydroxycarboxylic acids or their derivatives capable of forming esters, and an acid component selected from the group consisting of maleic acid, fumaric acid, itaconic acid, mesaconic acid, aconitic acid, their derivatives capable of forming esters and mixtures thereof. As part of the alcohol coponent, hydroxylated polybutadiene with an average molecular weight of 2400 to 3000 and a hydroxy-functionality of 2.2 to 2.4 is condensed into the polyester. The polyesters exhibit useful flow anomalies which are due to their molecular structure.
