摘要： A lapped seam can having a high safety characteristic used as containers of soft drinks or beer wherein the cut-burrs at the end of the inner end portion of the can blank are completely removed so that micro-leak passages apt to occur in the lapped seam can are shut off, thereby permitting a long term storage of the can content without deterioration by preventing metal from being dissolved out from said inner end portion.

摘要： A can forming method and apparatus wherein cut-burrs of a can blank are removed from the ends thereof an adhesive film is stuck onto the preheated ends of the blank and, then, said ends are subjected to high-frequency induction heating for melting said films to join said ends together in such a manner as to prevent edge effect and associated deformations from occurring, thereby to form a lapped seam having a remarkably high adhesive strength substantially without pin-hole formation.

摘要： A heat fumigation apparatus for transpiring a solution of a chemical agent dissolved in a solvent by heating which comprises a container having the solution therein, a wick a part of which is immersed in the solution and a heater for heating the upper portion of the wick thereby transpiring the solution drawn up the wick. 摘要： An insecticidal composition for electric fumigator consisting essentially of:(A) an insecticidally effective amount of a preparation comprising 2-methyl-4-oxo-3-(2-propynyl)cyclopent-2-enyl-chrysanthemate and a synergist, wherein the weight ratio of said synergist to said chrysanthemate ranges from 1/2 to 8, and(B) a porous mat suitable for use on an insecticidal mat, said porous mat being impregnated with said preparation. This composition has both a lower content of an insecticidal active ingredient than ever and the capability of exhibiting a sufficient insecticidal activity over a long period of time.

摘要： In a method for knock down of injurious insects or for freeing a particular environment therefrom by heating fumigation comprising dipping a part of a porous absorptive wick in an insecticidal solution to allow it to absorb the solution and indirectly heating said wick around the top to fumigate the absorbed insecticidal solution, a method for knock down of injurious insects or for freeing a particular environment therefrom, which comprises exposing the insects to the vapor, characterized in that a C.sub.12 -C.sub.18 aliphatic saturated hydrocarbon solution containing as an active ingredient 2-methyl-4-oxo-3-(2-propynyl)cyclopent-2-enyl chrysanthemate is used as said insecticidal solution, a porous absorptive wick prepared by caking a powdery inorganic substance with a binding agent is used as said porous absorptive wick, and besides that said absorptive wick is indirectly heated around the top to a temperature in a range of from 105.degree. to 130.degree. C.
