    • A computer enclosure includes a chassis (10) with a support bracket (20), a hood (40) and a fastener (60) securing the hood to the chassis. The fastener includes a handle (62) pivotably attached to the hood, an elastic latch (64) inserted into an aperture (56) of the hood to retain the handle on the hood, and a torsion spring (68) compressed between the handle and the hood. The handle includes a press portion (74) and two cams (72). The cams extend through a cutout (25) of the hood, and act on a flange (29) of the bracket. The hood is thereby attached to the bracket. When the press portion is pressed, the latch exits the aperture. The spring deforms back to its uncompressed shape, causing the handle to rotate up from the hood. The cams act on a stop plate (27) of the bracket, and disengage from the cutout.

    • A computer enclosure (1) includes a chassis (10), a cover (20), a turn support (40) and a locking device (50). The chassis defines a plurality of slots (17) in a pair of opposite sills (16) thereof. The cover has a plurality of catches (21) for the engagement with the chassis at the slots. The turn support is attached to the chassis. The locking device includes a turn cap (60), a cam (52), a washer (54), and a bolt (56). The turn cap and cam are rotatably secured to the cover with the washer and the bolt. Rotation of the turn cap causes corresponding rotation of the cam. When rotated, the cam acts on flanges (46, 48) at an opening (42) of the turn support. The locking device thereby drives the cover to move forward or rearward. The catches of the cover accordingly engage with or disengage from the chassis.

    • A computer enclosure (10) includes a chassis (20), a hood (40), a handle (54), and a latch (60) attaching the hood to the chassis. A support bracket (30) is secured in the chassis, and defines a plurality of slots (38). The hood defines a recess (44) and two apertures (48). The handle is slidably received in the recess, and has two hollow cylinders (58) extending through the apertures. The latch defines two through holes (64) for extension of two screws (66) therethrough to engage with the cylinders, thus securing the handle to the latch. The latch has a plurality of hooks (62) corresponding to the slots of the support bracket. When the latch is in a first position, the hooks are engaged at the slots. When the latch is moved to a second position, the hooks are released from the slots, whereupon the hood is easily removed from the chassis.

The cover further forms protrusions (90) that depress the storage device toward the shoulders and thereby firmly secure the storage device within the enclosure, and a spring plate (92) contacting the storage device to establish grounding paths between the storage device and the enclosure.

    • A disk drive bracket (10) includes a bottom panel (12) and first and second side panels (14, 16) extending from opposite edges of the bottom panel. The first side panel includes a first support portion (42), a pair of first pressing tabs (44), and a pair of elastic pads (48). The second side panel includes a second support portion (62), and a pair of second pressing tabs (64). The second side panel further defines a pair of through holes (68) for insertion of screws (80) therethrough. The first and second support portions support a data storage device (100) thereon. The first and second pressing tabs depress the storage device. The elastic pads inwardly press the storage device. The storage device cannot move in any direction. Thus, the disk drive bracket readily and firmly secures the storage device therein.
