摘要： Information equipment includes an open/close mechanism that opens or closes exhaust ports, a cooling fan that dissipates heat in the information equipment into the air through the exhaust ports, a user state detecting part that detects a contact state in which the hand of a user is in contact with the information equipment or a closeness state in which the hand of the user is close to the information equipment, and a heat dissipation control part that controls an open/closed state of the open/close mechanism so that heat exhausted from the exhaust ports is not directed to the hand of the user that is contact with or close to the information equipment, in accordance with the contact state or the closeness state detected by the user state detecting part.

摘要： An information access system comprises: antennas arranged at respective different positions and used for communicating with contactless information storage devices that pass through a predetermined region substantially simultaneously; reader devices coupled to the respective antennas and adapted to communicate with the contactless information storage devices; and a control unit for controlling the reader devices and transmitting, to another apparatus, data received from the reader devices. In response to a control signal received from the other apparatus, the control unit controls predetermined one of the reader devices to transmit an RF identification request signal to the predetermined region via the antenna. The reader devices receive RF response signals from the contactless information storage devices via the antennas, then reproduce identifications, and then provide the reproduced identifications to the control unit. The control unit receives the reproduced identifications, and then processes redundant identifications in the received identifications so as to produce distinct identifications having no redundancy.

摘要： A printed circuit board (PCB) has a plurality of electromagnetic interference (EMI) reducing circuits, which reduce electromagnetic waves emitted from the PCB, and a plurality of switching devices, such as MOS transistors, relays and DIP switches, to enable and disable the EMI reducing circuits. The EMI reducing circuits connected between border portions of a voltage and a ground layers in the PCB include at least a capacitor. A combination of the EMI reducing circuits which gives a minimum amount of electromagnetic waves emitted from an apparatus including the PCB is selected as a suitable combination of EMI reducing circuits. An information processing apparatus having the printed circuit boards has means for selecting a combination of the EMI reducing circuits which allow the minimum EMI emitted for the apparatus.
