摘要： An image recording apparatus includes a conveyance roller which conveys the recording medium, a drive source for rotating the conveyance roller, a print head and a carriage mounted with the print head. The carriage includes an abutment portion. The image recording apparatus further includes a carriage position detector which detects a position of the carriage in a movement direction of the carriage and still further includes a rotating body which rotates in synchronization with the conveyance roller. The rotating body includes a reference portion which protrudes or depresses in the movement direction at a predetermined rotation phase of the rotating body and abut with the reference portion. Moreover, the image recording apparatus includes an origin determination section which, based on a result of the detection by the carriage position detector, determines an origin position of a rotation phase of the conveyance roller.

The bag is formed out of a laminate including a ductile film and a rigid film which are laminated together. The case has a hole, through which a hollow needle can protrude from the outside into the case and pierce the bag to take out ink from the bag. The laminate has such a sealing effect that, when it is pierced by the needle, the pierced hole is blocked. The cartridge is suitable for an ink jet printer.

摘要： A paper cassette adapted to be removably mounted in a paper feed section of an image forming device. The paper cassette is generally constructed of a main frame and an auxiliary frame slidably engaged with the main frame. Thereafter, the auxiliary frame is fixedly positioned by a position adjusting member provided on the main frame.
