    • A musical tune playback apparatus is basically constituted by a controller (CPU), a digital media drive (e.g., a CD drive), a hard disk drive, and a sound system. Musical tune data recorded on a digital storage media (e.g., CD) are played back and are transferred to the hard disk drive together with relative information and/or image data. When a user inputs retrieval conditions, the controller retrieves musical tune data related to relative information (or image), which substantially matches retrieval conditions. Specifically, a relative information retrieval database is stored in a data area of the hard disk drive, wherein an auto-input area automatically describes an index ID, TOC information, and history information while a manual-input area describes other data and information with regard to each musical tune that is played back. Thus, desired musical tune data are automatically retrieved from the hard disk drive with reference to the database.

    • There are provided a highly sensitive force/mass detection method and device using a phase-locked loop, in which a phase noise of the mechanical element can be reduced using the phase-locked loop, by synchronizing a vibration signal of a mechanical element to an oscillation signal from a local oscillator which has a low phase noise and a high purity property. In the highly sensitive force/mass detection device using the phase-locked loop, an oscillation circuit of a mechanical vibrator 1 including a phase adjuster 10, a binarization circuit 5 for detecting a phase of an oscillation signal of the oscillation circuit, a local oscillator 7 having a low phase noise and a high purity property, a phase comparator 6 for comparing the phase of the oscillation signal of the mechanical vibrator 1 with a phase of an oscillation signal from the local oscillator 7, and a loop filter 8 connected to the phase comparator 7, are provided. An output of the phase comparator 6 is fed back to the phase adjuster 10 through the loop filter 8, and a phase noise of the mechanical vibrator 1 is reduced.

    • A wireless base station and a wireless mobile station repeat, via a wireless communication section therebetween, transmission of contents data from a server to a terminal. Each of the wireless base station and the wireless mobile station periodically transmits camouflage data to each of the server and the terminal, respectively, when the wireless communication section is incommunicative. This causes each of the server and the terminal to determine that a connection for data communication between the server and the terminal is continuing. Processing for the transmission/reception in the data communication is thereby prevented from being interrupted even when a wireless communication environment deteriorates and the wireless communication section becomes incommunicative.
