    • An input method is applied to a touch-sensitive display apparatus. The touch-sensitive display apparatus has a display area and the display area displays a first frame. The input method include a step of a pointer pressing the display area and moving to change the first frame. The step of the pointer pressing the display area and moving to change the first frame is accomplished through the following way. The way is that the pointer presses the display area and moves from a place where is adjacent to a corner of the display area to a place where is adjacent to a center of the display area along a first direction such that a folded image adjacent to the corner is displayed by the display area. In addition, a touch-sensitive display apparatus using the input method is provided.

    • A method of driving an electro-optic display includes the following steps. First, a first frame is displayed on pixels at a first time. Next, data of a second frame predetermined to be displayed on the pixels at a second time later than the first time is determined. Next, an eliminating frame showing a first extreme gray level or a second extreme gray level is displayed on the pixels at a third time. Afterwards, a medium frame is displayed on the pixels at a fourth time later than the third time. The third and fourth times are between the first and second times. The gray level shown by each pixel at the fourth time is close to the gray level predetermined to be shown by the same pixel at the second time. Thereafter, the second frame is displayed on the pixels at the second time.

    • A display method applied to an electrophoretic display having pixels includes steps as follows. Firstly, a first frame is displayed on the pixels at a first time. Then the difference between the pixels at the first time and those at a second time predetermined for displaying a second frame is determined and part of the pixels corresponding to the difference are divided into a first pixel group (pg) and a second pg. The first pg shows a first single-color at the first time and a second single-color at the second time and the color shown by the second pg is opposite to that shown by the first pixel group. Next, a medium image is displayed on the first pg at a third time between the first and the second times and shows the second single-color. Afterwards, corresponding part of the second frame is displayed on the second pg at the second time.

    • A method of preventing buffer underrun and buffer overrun errors in a data processing system is disclosed. The method includes providing a reference frequency for the data processing system, storing data samples to be processed in a first in, first out (FIFO) register, detecting a level of the FIFO register for indicating how many data samples are stored in the FIFO register, dividing the reference frequency by a divisor for producing a working frequency having a lower frequency than the reference frequency, wherein the divisor is not equal to zero and the divisor is adjusted according to the level of the FIFO register, and processing the data samples stored in the FIFO register using the working frequency.
