摘要： The electrical output efficiency of a photovoltaic thermal system can be restored from degradation due to light exposure by annealing a photovoltaic thermal cell at an elevated temperature. The elevated temperature at the photovoltaic thermal cell can be provided by redirecting the flow of a heat exchange fluid to bypass a heat exchanger unit. A boiler unit may be employed to provide additional heating of the heat exchange fluid during the anneal. Further, a variable configuration lid can be provided over a front surface of the photovoltaic thermal cell to control ventilation over the front surface. During the anneal, the position of the variable configuration lid can be set so as to trap heat above the front surface and to elevate the anneal temperature further.

Relative capability associated with each of the plurality of suppliers is determined. For each supplier in the plurality of suppliers, the system and method generate lines by linking said each supplier to neighboring suppliers in the plurality of suppliers, establish relative capability points on the lines between said each supplier and the neighboring suppliers, and define boundaries of a coverage region associated with said each supplier based on the relative capability points. A customer located in the coverage region is allocated to the associated supplier of the coverage region.

The method includes simulating a shopping system that includes a plurality of databases, the simulating including updating the plurality of databases in accordance with a database refresh rate. The method also includes repeating the simulating for each of a number of database refresh rates and calculating error rates for availability of product determinations resulting from each of the simulations. The method further includes estimating customer satisfaction levels for the error rates and comparing the customer satisfaction levels to corresponding costs of implementing database refreshes corresponding to each of the database refresh rates.

The microwave oven includes a sensor for sensing the food load on a turntable in a heating chamber, a microcomputer for controlling the oven in response to key signals input by the user and in response to the load sensor, a power supply for supplying power to a magnetron to operate the magnetron under the control of the microcomputer, an impedance matching device for matching impedance by moving a reflector in a waveguide fixed to the heating chamber, a match driver for controlling the impedance matching device under the control of the microcomputer, a variable vane mounted in an opening of the heating chamber, and a variable vane driving means for rotating the variable vane under the control of the microcomputer.

摘要： An extracellular leucine aminopeptidase was isolated from the culture medium of Streptomyces therrnonitrificans which is a Zn.sup.2+ -dependent metalloenzyme which comprises an amino acid sequence Lys-Phe-Ser-Lys-Lys-Phe-Asn-Glu (SEQ ID NO: 3) at the N-terminal thereof, and amino acid sequences of Glu-Pro-Gly-Thr-Gly-Ala-Leu-Glu-Pro (SEQ ID NO: 4) and Asn-Pro-Asp-Ile-Val-Tyr (SEQ ID NO: 5) at other regions thereof. The aminopeptidase has a pH optimum of 7.5 to 9.0, a temperature optimum of 30.degree. to 50.degree. C., and an apparent molecular weight as determined by sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis under reducing conditions of 41 to 45 kDa, and as determined by gel filtration under native state conditions of 36 to 40 kDa.
