摘要： A display device is disposed in a car and a display screen is switched based upon coordinate data showing the touched position which is output from a touch tracer which is disposed where it can be accessed by a driver, and “on” data that shows that the touch tracer has been press-operated. The display device displays small button display portions to select a next display operation which is to be displayed on the map screen. The button display portions which are shown on the map screen in an input state of the coordinate data from the touch tracer are displayed in an expanded state. By so doing, the driver can easily confirm the display content of the button display portions so that it is possible to improve the operability of the touch tracer for the selection of the button display portions.

摘要： A touch operation information output apparatus is provided in a position at which a driver can operate it, and detects a touched position with respect to the input pad and outputs its coordinate data to the display device. Here, protruding brackets are provided at 16 positions on the input pad. A first group of protruding brackets that are in 4 positions at a center of the input pad are formed in a “+” shape, a second group of protruding brackets that are in four corners of the input pad are formed in an “L” shape and a third group of protruding brackets are formed in a “T” shape. Because of this, the driver can recognize the touched position with respect to the touch operation information output apparatus and blind operation becomes possible.

摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for reliably detecting a touch operation in a touch sensitive control surface, despite the influence of light or the existence of an obstruction. In the touch tracer, LEDs and phototransistors for detecting a touch position on the input pad are arranged to form parallel optical axes in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction. The optical axes of the LEDs and the phototransistors are alternately arranged in opposite directions to the adjacent optical axis. Moreover, the front surface of the phototransistor is closed except for an aperture that forms an optical axis only between opposing LEDs. The apertures are divided in half into top and bottom portions by a light-shielding film. Because of the light-shielding film, the phototransistor does not receive any light interference from the adjacent LED or incidental sunlight.

摘要： An image forming method is performed by an image forming apparatus having a head mounting a plurality of writing units that form an image on a recording medium. The writing units are aligned in a sub-scanning direction perpendicular to a main-scanning direction. A part of the image is formed on the recording medium by the writing units, the part of the image forming a line extending in the main-scanning direction. The step of forming a part of the image is repeated while shifting the writing units in the sub-scanning direction by a predetermined amount of shift. The amount of shift of the wiring units is varied so that an amount of misalignment in a connecting portion between the parts of the image on the recording medium is reduced.

An image recording body includes an element, which absorbs light (electromagnetic wave), provided in a surface of a recording body 10, or in a recording layer formed on uppermost layer of the recording body having a material exhibiting thermal changeable character of wettability, or in a substrate or an intermediate layer of the recording body. After a liquid is on the recording body 10 by a liquid forming means 3, light-stimulated writing is carried out. When the light-stimulated writing is carried out with light (electromagnetic wave) from a light (electromagnetic wave) source according to image information, an efficiency of light-heat conversion can be enhanced by a light (electromagnetic wave)-absorbing element.
