摘要： Corrugated fins are provided at opposing sides of a corrugated thermoelectric device constituting a thermoelectric circuit. This air conditioner is obtained by superposing a plurality of the thermoelectric devices. When a current is fed to the thermoelectric devices, heat is absorbed from one of two fluids running through the corrugated fins and discharged to the other fluid, so as to define a heat pump cycle is defined. The thermoelectric devices are superposed so that the confronting surfaces of the neighboring thermoelectric devices constitute a heat radiation surface respectively and a cooling surface. The corrugated fins intersect with each other, so that the two fluids are prevented from mingling and are allowed to flow in and out of different surfaces.

摘要： In a fine structure of a thermoelectric material, fine particles of a material exhibiting Seebeck effect are electrically linked in a loosely contacted state with one another without fusing, having spaces formed at clearances among the fine particles. A method of manufacturing the thermoelectric material comprises a step of compacting fine particles made of a material exhibiting Seebeck effect through a cold pressing. Also, disclosed is a sensor for quantitatively sensing a substance, which comprises a pellet of a powder thermoelectric material, where a temperature difference is generated between two points inside the piece of thermoelectric material. The sensor further includes thermocouples connected to a heater plate (6) and a cooling plate, and a controller which is electrically connected in the loop circuit of the thermocouples for detecting thermoelectric current corresponding to the temperature difference, thereby to control the heating of the heater plate.

摘要： An absorption heat pump apparatus using a refrigerant as a heat exchanging medium includes a vapor generator for producing a dilute refrigerant solution and a heat exchanger having an evaporator for producing evaporated refrigerant gas and an absorber for making the evaporated refrigerant gas to be absorbed into the dilute refrigerant solution. A plurality refrigerant paths extending inside the evaporator and absorber for flowing the refrigerant inside for heat exchange operation. Each inlet end of refrigerant paths is connected to an inlet before the evaporator by a plurality of first capillary paths. Each outlet end of refrigerant paths is joined to an outlet. A plurality of second capillary paths are connected to the refrigerant paths before the absorber for supplying the dilute refrigerant solution to the absorber. When passing through the capillary paths, the refrigerant is cooled due to the pressure loss.

摘要： The present invention provides a gas diffusion layer for a fuel cell which has proper rigidity, is easy to handle and contributes to the improvement of the productivity of fuel cells. A method for producing a gas diffusion layer for a fuel cell including a first step of: impregnating a conductive porous substrate made of a conductive carbon fiber cloth or conductive carbon fiber felt with a first dispersion containing a first fluorocarbon resin having thermoplasticity; and baking the first conductive porous substrate at a first baking temperature of not less than the melting point of the first fluorocarbon resin and less than the decomposition temperature of the first fluorocarbon resin to enhance the rigidity of the conductive porous substrate.
