    • Improved bacterial secretion signals derived from pelB and ompA are provided. The improved variants enhance bacterial membrane secretion are thus useful for production of proteins secreted from bacteria including proteins displayed on filamentous phage particles, and, in particular, proteins requiring oxidative formation of covalent bonds, such as disulfide bonds within or between polypeptide chains in order to form a correctly folded and functional protein structure. Described herein are methods for the multivalent display of complex dimeric proteins on the surface of a bacteriophage particle and combinatorial synthetic libraries of such proteins displayed as a fusion polypeptide with filamentous phage pIX coat protein. Heterodimeric or more complex interchain bonded structures may also be displayed using the method of the invention.

    • The invention discloses a camera device, comprising: an image capture module for capturing image data including a user; an information processing module for obtaining human face image data from the image data, and obtaining a distance information between a human face corresponding to the human face image data and the camera device according to the human face image data; a decision module for determining whether the distance corresponding to said distance information is less than a predetermined value, and generating a prompt information while the distance corresponding to said distance information is less than a predetermined value; and a prompt output module for outputting said prompt information based on said distance information, said prompt information is configured to give a prompt to said user. The invention also discloses an information prompt method. The technical solution of the present invention can obtain and output a distance between a human face and the camera device, so as to prevent and prompt that a user is too close to a display screen, and thereby protect eyesight of the user.

    • A method is disclosed for use in cooperation with a computer having memory in a Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) for generating an optimized transition plan for the placement of Self-Healing Rings (SHR) and the routing of point-to-point demand in accordance with projected customer demand over a selected multi-period time interval. By determining the number of nodes within a SONET, the demand therebetween over selected time interval as well as the discounted add-drop cost for a plurality of selected Add-Drop Multiplexers (ADMs), a set of logical rings as well as a set of physical rings and detailed routing information may be obtained and graphically illustrated. Logical rings may be determined by optimizing discounted fixed and interconnection costs for the plurality of ADMs in accordance with a selected mixed integer program to generate a corresponding electrical signal for receipt by the computer memory. Thereafter, the placement of physical self-healing rings, the cash flow out and optimal traffic routing may be determined in accordance with a second selected mixed integer program whereupon a second electrical signal may be generated corresponding thereto. Utilizing a heuristic approach, where the number of nodes under study is high, logical rings may be determined through an iterative process of randomly generating new proposed rings or, in the alternative, randomly expanding existing proposed rings until all demand has been satisfied.
