摘要： A semiconductor chip package with direction-flexible mountability comprising a switching circuit for switching a pin function according to the mounting direction of a package, a pair of pin-definition pins for defining the pin function and a pair of power supply leads, and a pair of ground leads. One of the power supply lead pair and the ground lead pair is rotation-symmetrical to the other, respectively. The semiconductor chip package with direction-flexible mountability in accordance with the present invention eliminates a process for indicating the mounting direction because the package can be mounted onto a substrate regardless the direction. Accordingly, the ID pin indication and a series of processes for testing the ID pin are eliminated and the malfunction due to the incorrect direction is prevented.

摘要： Disclosed is a display driving device, a display device including the same, and an image data compression and decompression method. The display driving device comprises an encoder that compresses PenTile® matrix encoded input image data using a binary encoding scheme and a DPCM encoding scheme, calculates errors produced by each encoding scheme, and selects an encoding scheme mode and its compressed data according to the calculated errors. A decoder decompresses the compressed data according to a decoding scheme corresponding to the selected encoding scheme mode. And a source driver drives source lines connected with a display panel based on decompressed data.

摘要： In a source driver output circuit of a flat panel display device, first and second latch units receive image data and store the received image data. A D/A converter converts the image data into a data voltage. An output buffer unit outputs the data voltage to a data line. A switching control unit decides whether or not the data voltages of two image data of the same channel among image data of horizontal lines adjacent to each other, stored in the first and second latch units, belong to the same grayscale voltage range, and outputs a switching control signal based on the decided result. A multiplexer unit selects a pre-charge voltage in response to the switching control signal or continuously maintains a connection state between a corresponding channel of the output buffer unit and the corresponding data line.

The lower and upper transparent substrates face each other. The lower transparent electrodes are disposed on the lower transparent substrate, formed along a first direction, and formed substantially in parallel with each other along a second direction. The upper transparent electrodes are disposed on the upper transparent substrate, formed along the second direction, and formed substantially in parallel with each other along the first direction. The liquid crystal lens layer is disposed between the upper and lower transparent substrates, and a longitudinal arrangement direction of liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal lens layer is changed by an electric field to have a predetermined refractive index. Therefore, a refracted incident light produces a stereoscopic image for enhancing display quality.

摘要： A liquid crystal display (“LCD”) includes forming only a λ/4 plate between a polarizer and a display panel and setting a direction of an absorption axis of the polarizer and a slow axis of the λ/4 plate, so that the LCD can have a smaller thickness and its fabrication cost can be reduced while having better or the same characteristics than an LCD using both λ/2 and λ/4 plates. In addition, in an ECB mode backlit LCD, transmittance, contrast ratio, and viewing angles can be enhanced by attaching both the λ/4 or λ/2 plate and allowing the absorption axis of the polarizer and the slow axis of the λ/4 and λ/2 plates to have predetermined angle relationships.
