摘要： The present invention provides a fixing device for fixing an unfixed image onto a recording sheet by applying heat and pressure to the unfixed image while the recording sheet having the unfixed image formed thereon is passing through a fixing nip, the fixing nip being formed by pressing a pressurizing roller against a heat generation belt, wherein the heat generation belt rotates around a rotational axis and includes a resistive heat layer extending in a rotational axis direction thereof, the resistive heat layer configured to generate heat when electricity is supplied thereto and having a plurality of holes provided therein, and the holes are distributed unevenly in the resistive heat layer such that electrical resistivity of the resistive heat layer varies in the rotational axis direction.

Electrodes 52a and 52b are provided on a circumferential surface of a fixing roller that includes a resistive heat layer that generates heat by receiving power supply, and power is supplied to the resistive heat layer when power supplying electrodes 54a and 54b that are electrically connected to an electric power source 55 are slidingly in contact with the electrodes 52a and 52b. An insulating tape 522a is attached on the electrode 52a, and the drive controller 59 rotates a motor 58 until the electrode 52a and the insulating tape 522a are in contact with each other, so that power supply to the resistive heat layer is interrupted.

摘要： An exhaust emission control system of an internal combustion engine desorbs SOx by reversing a flow of an exhaust gas through an NOx storage-reduction catalyst, of which a structure is simplified as follows. A first exhaust pipe connected to an engine is connected to a first port of an emission switching valve having four ports. A second exhaust pipe 10, through which the exhaust gas is discharged into the atmospheric air, is connected to a second port, a third exhaust pipe connected to an inlet of a catalytic converter is connected to a third port. A fourth exhaust pipe connected to an outlet of the catalytic converter 30 is connected to a fourth port. When the emission switching valve is set in a forward flow position, the first exhaust pipe is connected to the third exhaust pipe, and the second exhaust pipe is connected to the fourth exhaust pipe, whereby the exhaust gas flows toward the outlet from the inlet within the catalytic converter. When the emission switching valve is set in a backward flow position, the first exhaust pipe is connected to the fourth exhaust pipe, and the second exhaust pipe is connected to the third exhaust pipe, whereby the exhaust gas flows toward the inlet from the outlet within the catalytic converter.

For the purpose of improving the emission efficiency, flip chip mounting of the light emitting diode piece is advantageous but the mounting yield is restricted by the piece size, electrode structure and wire pattern structure, facing situations having difficulties in realizing simplified mounting and reduction of costs of members. In a liquid crystal display apparatus having a liquid crystal panel, an optical system and a light source, the light source includes a light emitting element structure having positive and negative electrodes, at least one of them being plural, and wires mounted to the positive and negative electrodes through flip chip mounting by making electrical correspondence to individual regions of the positive and negative electrodes.
