    • A server enclosure includes a power input terminal to receive power signals, a number of connection elements, a number of lead terminals, and a number of power output terminals. Each connection element includes a connection portion and two fixing arms extending from opposite ends of the connection portion. The connection portion is engaged with the power input terminal to receive the power signals and output the power signals to the two fixing arms. Each lead terminal includes a first connection portion fixed to one fixing arm along an extending direction of the fixing arm to receive the power signals and a second connection portion to receive the power signals. Each power output terminal is connected to one of the second connection portions to receive the power signals.

    • A detecting apparatus for detecting operation of a fan, includes a first current module disposed at an airflow path of the fan, a second current module insulated from the airflow, and an indicating module for giving an indicating signal, having a LED, and a transistor. The first and second current modules being mirror-images of each other. When the fan does not operate, the first and second current modules operate the same. The transistor of the indicating module is turned off, and the LED to be lit. When the fan operates, current flow of the first and second modules are different from each other producing a voltage greater than zero, the transistor of the indicating module is turned on, and the LED does not light.

    • A digital interface sensing apparatus includes a sensor, an analog detecting circuit, an analog to digital (A/D) converter, a signal cable, and an interface switch circuit. The sensor senses an external analog signal. The analog detecting circuit detects the sensed analog signal from the sensor. The A/D converter converts the sensed analog signal to a digital signal and receives a clock signal and a data demand signal. The A/D converter sends the digital signal in response to the A/D converter receiving the clock signal and the data demand signal. The interface switch circuit includes a multiplexer and a recommended standard 422 (RS-422) transceiver. The RS-422 transceiver is connected between the A/D converter and the multiplexer to switch RS-422 digital signal and transistor-transistor logic (TTL) signal. The multiplexer is connected between the A/D converter and the signal cable to selectively transfer RS-233 and RS-422 signals.

    • Disclosed is an electrical film resistor or a film thermistor formed by a composite of electrically-conducting oxide and electrically insulating aluminum oxide (Al2O3, the sapphire). In a preferred embodiment, the electrically-conducting oxide can be ruthenium oxide (RuO2) or iridium oxide (IrO2). The composite film is formed by a film deposition process such as rf sputtering deposition in the presence of an inert gas. By adjusting the composition ratio of the composite, or changing the reaction conditions of the film deposition, for example, the inert gas pressure or the substrate temperature, the composite film can be formed for applications in either electrical resistor devices or thermistors.

    • A liquid crystal display (LCD) includes a graphic processor, a number of sensors, an optical signal collecting unit, a property saving unit, a property comparing unit, and a property setting unit. The optical signal collecting unit receives optical analog signals generated by the number of sensors, and converts the received optical analog signals into optical digital signals. The property saving unit saves a number of predetermined display properties and a number of predetermined optical signal ranges. The property comparing unit receives the optical digital signals and compares the optical digital signals with the plurality of predetermined optical signal ranges, and correspondingly selects corresponding predetermined display properties. The property setting unit receives the selected display properties and outputs the selected display properties to the graphic processor to adjust display properties of the LCD.
