摘要： A color ink jet recording method is disclosed which can provide a high-quality monochrome print, does not cause bleeding derived from intermixing of a black ink with color inks and can equalize the dot diameter of four color ink dots, offer a high drying rate and provide a sharp and vivid color image. The color ink jet recording method includes a step of forming a dot unit of a black ink consisting of plural of ink droplets, wherein color inks having a surface tension of less than 40 dyn/cm at 20.degree. C. and black ink having a surface tension of not less than 40 dyn/cm are used.

摘要： A yellow ink composition, a magenta ink composition and cyan ink composition and a solvent system which are suitable for a color ink jet printing method are disclosed. These ink compositions can realize ideal color tones without limitation of properties of paper. Moreover, these ink compositions are excellent in intermittent jetting stability. The color ink jet printing method is also disclosed. In this method, ink compositions are overprinted to mix colors. Colors obtained by the color mixing have an ideal color tone.

摘要： An ink composition for ink jet recording is provided which can satisfy property requirements of quality of print, drying property of print, clogging resistance, water resistance, storage stability, and nonattacking on members constituting an ink passage, such as a printing head. 摘要： An ink jet recording method which can simply realize a plurality of resolutions in a single printer without varying the amount of ink per droplet is disclosed. An ink jet recording method comprises the steps of: selecting a recording medium; changing an image resolution depending on the selected recording medium; and ejecting ink droplets onto the recording medium to form ink dots thereon, wherein the amount of ink of the droplet is constant when the resolution is changed, and wherein the image resolution is changed so that ink penetrability or ink repellency of the recording medium makes the diameters of the ink dots on the recording medium fall in the range of from 100 to 160% of diagonal dot pitch of the resolution.
