    • An electronic assembly includes a printed circuit board mounted with an electronic component, a heat sink, and a clip securing the heat sink on the printed circuit board to enable the heat sink to have an intimate contact with the electronic component. The printed circuit board forms two engaging portions each defining a receiving hole therein. The heat sink includes a base and a plurality of fins. The clip includes a pressing member pressing the heat sink to the electronic component, two V-shaped operating members extending slantwise from ends of the pressing member, and two clasps extending outwardly from ends of the operating members. Height of each of the clasps is larger than that of each of the receiving holes of the engaging portions. The clasps of the clip lock with the engaging portions by manipulating the operating members.

    • A heat sink assembly includes a heat sink and a clip assembly. The clip assembly includes a clip and a pair of movable fasteners pivotally connected to the clip. The clip includes a main body, two pressing portions extending from two opposite ends of the main body and two locking arms extending oppositely from the two pressing portions, respectively. The movable fasteners each include a main body, a pair of receiving portions curved upwardly from the main body and receiving a corresponding locking arm therein and a hook extending downwardly from the main body and engaging with a clasp on a printed circuit board. A distance from each of the hooks of the movable fasteners to a corresponding clasp can be adjustable via rotation of the movable fasteners around the locking arms of the clip.

    • An exemplary heat dissipation apparatus includes a first heat spreader, a second heat spreader, a fixing member, an elastic member, a heat sink, a first heat pipe, a second heat pipe, and a fan. The fixing member includes a first fixing plate, and a second fixing plate connected to the second heat spreader. The elastic member includes a fixing piece fixedly joined to the first heat spreader, and a latching piece extending from each end of the fixing piece and movably connected to the first fixing plate. The first heat spreader can move with the latching piece toward or away from the first fixing member. The fan defines an air outlet facing the heat sink. Two ends of the first heat pipe respectively contact the first heat spreader and the heat sink. Two ends of the second heat pipe contact the second heat spreader and the heat sink, respectively.

    • An exemplary thermal module for dissipating heat of a heat-generating component includes a fixing member, a centrifugal fan arranged on the fixing member, a heat sink and a fastener. The fixing member includes a plurality of fixing portions. The centrifugal fan includes a housing defining an air outlet and an impeller rotatably received in the housing. At least one of the fixing portions is located under the housing. The heat sink is disposed at the air outlet of the centrifugal fan. The fastener interconnects the heat sink and the housing of the centrifugal fan. The fastener is slidably connected to one of the heat sink and the housing to cause the centrifugal fan to be moveable relative to the heat sink for exposing the at least one of the fixing portions located under the housing during fixing of the thermal module to the heat-generating component.

    • A heat dissipation assembly comprises a heat conducting plate, a fixing assembly for securing the heat conducting plate on an electronic module, a back plate opposite to the heat conducting plate. The fixing assembly comprises a bolt, an elastic element coiled around the bolt, and a nut. The heat conducting plate defines a through hole thereon, and a flange is defined at one end of the bolt and received in the nut. The nut is sandwiched between the heat conducting plate and the back plate and is made of elastically plastic.
