摘要： The present invention provides an outdoor water heater (10) having a lower chamber (12) located in a cabinet (14) which substantially sealingly encloses a naturally aspirated or natural draught burner 16, a combustion chamber, a heat exchanger (18), a flue (20) for conveying combustion gases from the burner (16), the flue (20) extending away from the heat exchanger (18) and passing through a middle chamber (22) located above the lower chamber (12), the flue (20) not opening into the middle chamber (22) and opening into an upper chamber (24) which has two opposed openings (24.2, 24.3), the upper chamber (24) and middle chamber (22) being substantially sealed with respect to each other to prevent combustion gas flow between the middle chamber (22) and the upper chamber (24), and wherein the middle chamber (22) has divider formations (22.1, 22.2) separating one side of the middle chamber (22) from an opposed side of the middle chamber (22), whereby the divider formations (22.1, 22.2) direct air flowing from one side of the middle chamber (22) to pass downwardly into the lower chamber (12) on one side then upwardly out of the lower chamber (12) to exit the middle chamber (22) on the other or opposite side.

摘要： The object is to provide a water heater capable of efficiently transmitting radiation heat of a burner to hot water in a hot water storage chamber with improved thermal efficiency. In the water heater, a second restriction part having a shallower depth than a first restriction part is arranged along a peripheral edge of a lower mirror plate of a hot water storage chamber with a protrusion part protruding in a ring shape toward the center side of the lower mirror plate. The protrusion part is further arranged between the first restriction part and the second restriction part, and a burner is positioned so that the burner combustion surface faces the protrusion part.

摘要： The present invention provides a method and facility for preventing crumbling and powderization of green pellets when producing high strength green pellets using a powder feedstock and using the pellets in a rotary hearth reducing furnace and for efficiently reducing the same. It comprises kneading by a kneader 5 a feedstock of a powder of a fine particle size (20 to 80 wt % having size of not more than 10 μm) including a metal oxide and carbon-bearing powder fed from a feed storage tank 1 and producing green pellets by a pan type pelletizer 7. The green pellets are screened by a pellet screen 9, then dried by a pellet dryer 11 and reduced by firing in a rotary hearth reducing furnace 13. At that time, the green pellets are continuously conveyed to prevent crumbling.

摘要： A method of readily detecting or differentiating rheumatoid arthritis, which has so far been diagnosed in a comprehensive manner based on various tests and clinical symptoms, and a method of readily and objectively estimating the stage of disease and the degree of dysfunction with regard to rheumatoid arthritis are provided.The detection and differentiation of rheumatoid arthritis are performed by measuring the levels of L-PGDS in a sample such as a body fluid such that the measurement value is used as an index. Further, the stage of disease or the degree of dysfunction of a rheumatoid arthritis patient is determined using the measurement value as an index.

摘要： There is provided a method of producing reduced iron compacts with high crushing strength, low powderization and a high reduction rate in a solid reduction-type firing reducing furnace such as a rotary hearth-type reducing furnace, as well as reduced iron compacts obtained by the method and a method of melt-reducing the reduced iron compacts in a blast furnace. In the method of producing reduced iron compacts, the atomic molar ratio of carbon to oxygen chemically combined with iron, manganese, nickel, zinc and lead, in raw material powder comprising a mixture of iron oxide-containing powder and carbon-containing powder, or the ferric oxide content of the raw material powder, is in a specified range, the compact is produced so as to give a porosity in a given range, and the compact is put on the hearth of a reducing furnace equipped with a rotating hearth and is heated for heating reduction by the heat from the combustion gas in the upper part of the furnace, for firing reduction at above a prescribed temperature.
