摘要： A lock cylinder for a door including an opening, and operable to interact with a latch bolt assembly. The lock cylinder includes a housing that has a cavity, and a plug assembly that has a casing and a plug housed in the casing and rotatable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The plug is operable to interact with the latch bolt assembly, and the casing is disposed within the cavity. The lock cylinder also includes a spin ring member that at least partially encloses the housing, and an adapter that is configured to be installed in the opening of the door and that includes a spin ring interface engaged with the spin ring member. The adapter further includes a shield portion extendable into the opening of the door, and the spin ring interface and the shield portion are formed as a single piece.

摘要： A door lock includes a housing suitable for secure attachment to a door, a cylinder body within the housing and selectively rotatable with respect to the housing, and a rotating member with a key receptacle selectively rotatable with respect to the cylinder body. The rotating member is coupled to a tailpiece. A first locking device allows the rotation of the cylinder body with respect to the housing upon the presentation of an appropriate electronic credential, and a second locking device allows rotation of the rotating member together with the tailpiece with respect to the cylinder body upon the insertion of an appropriate key in the key receptacle.

摘要： A bipolar electrosurgical instrument includes first and second shafts each having a jaw member extending from its distal end. Each jaw member is adapted to connect to a source of electrosurgical energy such that the jaw members are capable of selectively conducting energy through tissue held therebetween. A knife channel is configured to reciprocate a cutting mechanism therealong. An actuator selectively advances the cutting mechanism. A switch is disposed on the first shaft and is configured to be depressed between a first position and at least one subsequent position upon biasing engagement with a mechanical interface disposed on the second shaft. The first position of the switch relays information to the user corresponding to a desired pressure on tissue and the at least one subsequent position is configured to activate the source of electrosurgical energy to supply electrosurgical energy to the jaw members.

摘要： An ultrasonic surgical instrument is provided. The ultrasonic surgical instrument includes a housing having an elongated shaft extending therefrom. The shaft defines a longitudinal axis therethrough and has at least one jaw member disposed at a distal end thereof. The jaw member(s) is movable between open and clamping configurations. A probe extends through the shaft and operably couples to the housing. The probe includes a cutting blade at a distal end thereof adjacent the jaw member(s) to treat tissue of interest. The jaw member(s) and cutting blade are configured such that heat damage to tissue adjacent tissue of interest that has been treated by the cutting blade is reduced and/or eliminated.

At least one jaw member is moveable from an open to a closed position for grasping tissue therebetween. At least one jaw member is configured for reciprocation of a blade therethrough. A trigger assembly includes a trigger and at least one linkage coupled to the trigger and to the blade such that rotation of the trigger translates the blade between the retracted and the extended position. An interference member moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position is also provided. The interference member is configured to engage the linkage(s) when in the locked position to inhibit translation of the blade from the retracted to the extended position.

The method includes providing a housing including outer pins, a plug rotatably engaged within the housing and having a key slot and inner pins configured to align with the outer pins, and an engagement member inserted into the plug as a separate piece such that the engagement member engages one or more originally engaged inner pins to space each of the engaged inner pins a distance from a pin resting surface defined by the key slot. The method also includes modifying the engagement member, and inserting the modified engagement member into the plug so that the engagement member engages one or more newly engaged inner pins different from the originally engaged inner pins to space each of the newly engaged inner pins a distance from the pin resting surface.
