摘要： The present invention provides a novel process for producing 1,2-dichloro-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane substantially free of the 1,1-isomer. The process includes contacting, in the vapor phase, an organic feed composition containing a major amount of the 1,2-isomer and a minor amount of 1,1-isomer with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrodechlorination catalyst. The process selectively degrades the 1,1-isomer. Also provided is a process for producing high purity 1,2-isomer.

摘要： Chromium(III) oxide and hydroxide aerogels are produced by the reaction of chromium(VI) oxide with a solvent which is reducing to chromium(VI), such as methanol, heating the solution to hypercritical conditions, and venting the solvent hypercritically. The product aerogels exhibit surface areas above 400 m.sup.2 /g, pore volumes of at least 2 cm.sup.3 /g and a substantially uniform pore size distribution. Also disclosed is a unique process which employs high pore volume, high surface area chromium(III) oxide or hydroxide as a fluorination catalyst. More particularly, reaction of C.sub.2 Cl.sub.3 F.sub.3 with HF over these catalysts produced high yields of C.sub.2 Cl.sub.2 F.sub.4 and C.sub.2 ClF.sub.5.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a dispensing cap for shaving lubricant which may be attached to a tube containing shaving lubricant or may be an integral part thereof. Thus, the device is a carrier for a lubricant for shaving in that it is uniquely adapted for supplying shaving lubricant directly to the razor blade of a razor. The present invention dispensing cap, in one embodiment, includes a neck having attachment means adapted for connection to the open end of a tube of shaving lubricant, the neck having a channel for the lubricant to pass through; and includes a receiving head opposite the neck which includes:i. an inside hollow area connected to the channel of said neck and adapted to receive a supply of shaving lubricant;ii. an outside, recessed area having a width greater than the width of a razor adapted to nest at least the blade end of a razor; and,iii. a lubricant distribution means adapted to distribute lubricant from a supply of lubricant of the inside hollow area, including a manifold located at the blade end nesting portion of said recessed area.In an alternative embodiment, the dispensing cap has the features mentioned, but instead of being attachable to a tube of shaving lubricant, the cap is integrally formed with and as a part of a tube of shaving lubricant.

摘要： The present invention is a trifunctional golfing cage having an elongated flat playing surface base with a tee off area at its front, a free standing frame, a first netting connected to the frame so as to enclose sides, back and top areas of the base, a second netting hanging down in front of the back portion of the first netting, a third netting hanging down in front of the second netting, and a cup located in the base. The second netting is a driving "loose drop" netting which hangs down at least 75% of the height of the cage to stop driven golf balls. The third netting is a chipping "loose drop" netting much shorter than the second netting and is a chipping "loose drop" netting. The cup is strategically located for putting. Return trough(s) may be employed to return the hit balls back to the front of the base, e.g. by gravity. An optional fourth netting may be employed to enhance deflection of chipped golf balls.
