摘要： A composite allograft press comprises a loading frame and a two piece mold to form an composite allograft and in particular an acetabular cup from impacted cancellous bone chips and cement. Pressure is applied by a manually operated lever through a rack-and-pinion gear mechanism to a plunger attached to one part of the mold. Compression load switches in-line with the plunger indicate the correct loading to the mold to produce a composite allograft in which the inner surface is smooth and comprised essentially of hardened bone cement material. The outer portion of the allograft may have limited cement extrusions but the exterior of the cup primarily shows exposed cancellous bone surface. In surgery a composite allograft; e.g., an acetabular cup, is fixed in the acetabulum with bone screws to fill an acetabular defect. A plastic liner is affixed with bone cement directly to the composite allograft cup to receive the femoral component.

摘要： A method of embedding a security mark or code on a film during the printing process is provided. The security mark or code includes unique print identification information that can be tracked to determine sources of piracy. The security code is incorporated to the film print in the form of a shift in the light exposure (e.g., color density) of pre-selected frames within pre-selected zone of pre-selected scenes. By shifting the color density and thereby marking a particular zone within a scene, these markings can be used to place a unique print ID onto the film print. This embedded security code (e.g., print ID) will be virtually undetectable to the viewer and film pirates; yet will enable the identification of the film source in the event of piracy.

The coder creates at least two-error correcting numbers, e.g. Y and Z, as a function of one, or more, of the J numbers. The film copy is then marked in accordance with L numbers, which comprise at least the two-error correcting numbers Y and Z.

A first sequence and a second sequence of the motion picture each can be selectively marked with an identifier mark to collectively define a uniquely identifiable marking pattern. A third sequence of the motion picture can be selectively marked with an error correction mark correlating to the uniquely identifiable marking pattern. The uniquely identifiable marking pattern is determinable absent at least one of the identifier marks by processing the error correction mark and remaining ones of the identifier marks. The error correction mark can be determined from values correlating the identifier marks.
