The method includes providing the collet in an unclamped position, receiving at least a portion of the electrode within an opening of the collet, and moving the collet to a clamped position using at least one of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power, wherein in the clamped position the collet exerts a radially inward force around a circumference of the electrode to facilitate fixedly holding the electrode.

The geographical zone can be defined by allowing a user to define and load to a transponder a plurality of waypoints, each waypoint defined by a geographical coordinate and a radius originating from the geographical coordinate. The geographical zone can also be defined by selecting a plurality of coordinates that are loaded to a transponder and mapped on a pixilated image. The microprocessor in the transponder is programmed to determine the occurrence of an event associated with the status of the entity in relation to the geographical zone. Finally, the microprocessor is configured to execute a configurable operation if the event occurs.

A voice link is utilized for communication between the portable computing device and a call center. A dual-tone multi-frequency signal is mapped to a pre-determined range of movement. The dual-tone multi-frequency signal is transmitted to the call center when a longitude measurement in the location data indicates a change in longitude that is within the pre-determined rage of movement. The dual-tone multi-frequency signal is transmitted as an indicator of longitude change of location of the portable computing device. In addition, the dual-tone multi-frequency signal is transmitted to the call center when a latitude measurement in the location data indicates a change in latitude that is within the pre-determined rage of movement. 摘要： The manufacture of pure, fine spherical powders has always been a problem for many materials, particularly for high-melting and highly reactive materials such as titanium, tantalum, vanadium and zirconium. The present invention provides a process and apparatus for producing such powders by rapidly heating course powders containing a gas or gases to near or above their melting point, whereby the contained gas erupts explosively to form many fine particles of the host material. The fine particles are typically, but not necessarily spheroidal, depending upon the process conditions at the time of eruption and immediately thereafter. Methods are described for producing, collecting, handling, storing and passivating said fine powders.
