    • A method of encoding video signals includes obtaining, averaging, offsetting, and replacing steps. In the obtaining step, a first value comprising a value of a video characteristic for a first portion of a first video signal and a second value comprising a value of the video characteristic for a second portion of a second video signal are obtained. In the averaging step, the first value and the second value are averaged to obtain an average value. In the offsetting step, the average value is offset by a first predetermined offset to obtain a first offset value and the average value is offset by a second predetermined offset to obtain a second offset value. In the replacing step, the first value is replaced with the first offset value on the first signal and the second value is replaced with the second offset value on the second video signal.

    • A necktie and belt holding assembly includes a pair of hangers each comprising a loop that includes a bottom member, a first side member, a second side member and a top member. Each of a pair of master hooks is attached to one of the top members. A hinge is attached to the each of the first side members such that the pair of hangers is hingedly coupled together. The pair of hangers may be selectively spaced from each other in an open position or positioned adjacent to each other in a closed position. An inner surface and an outer surface of each of the bottom members and the second side members are defined with respect to each other. Each of a plurality of clips is attached one of the bottom members. The clips are each attached to a respective one of the outer surfaces of the bottom members.

    • The present invention is a convenient, aesthetically pleasing, multi-purpose container/beverage infuser that allows a user to store and brew beverages such as tea. The device includes a base container for storing the loose tea leaves prior to brewing. A lid is provided to seal the container so that the tea leaves may be preserved during storage. An infuser is removably attached to the base container. The infuser is shaped so that that it may be inverted over a drinking container and receive a predetermined amount of fresh tea leaves to be steeped. Clips are coupled to the infuser so that the infuser may be retained in the inverted position over the drinking container during the brewing process. A cap is placed on top of the infuser when assembled and may be invertedly placed on a stable surface to hold the infuser after use to prevent excess dripping.
