    • The invention relates to a junction (14) between two components (10, 12) of a tool system that rotates about an axis of rotation (16), especially for use in machine tools. The junction (14) comprises an at least partially conical seat (18), arranged on the first component (10), which is coaxial to the axis of rotation (16) and which is defined by at least one annular front face (20). The second component (12) carries a coupling part (22) which comprises a coupling pin (24) having a conical surface (32) that is complementary to the conical seat (18) and an annular end face (26) pointing towards the annular front face (20) and, in the coupled state, resting against the same. A tie bolt (36) axially projects beyond the free end of the coupling pin (24) and engages, in the coupled state, in a cavity (38) that is adjacent to the seat (18). The junction also has tensioning means that can be actuated from the exterior for mutually bracing the components (10, 12). Said tensioning means comprise two tensioning elements (44′, 44″) which are radially guided in the first component (10), act upon the tie bolt (36) and are functionally linked with joint actuating means (50) by which they can be adjusted between a detached position and a tensioned position. According to the invention, the tensioning elements are provided with ejection portions (60) that can be fitted with at least one rotatably received rolling element (62).

    • The invention relates to a machine tool for use in tool machines, comprising a cutting element which is preferably configured as a cutting ring and at least two insert seats that are provided in the cutting element at distance to each other in the circumferential direction. The insert seats are fitted with at least one group of at least two identical insert tips that are detachably arranged therein and that have one working edge each, the effective working edges of the insert tips of one group being cut to the same nominal size. The insert tips are configured as indexable inserts, every single indexable insert of a group being associated with a defined insert seat in all possible positions of adjustment, and the indexable inserts of a group having at least two working edges each, one of these edges being always in the effective and at least one other edge being in the ineffective position, depending on the position of the indexable inserts in the associated insert seats. The indexable inserts of a group assume identical positions of adjustment in which defined working edges of every indexable insert of a group have the same orientation in the associated insert seat, the working edges of the indexable inserts of a group being cut to a nominal size in all common positions of adjustment.

    • The invention relates to a machine tool, particularly a machine reamer, comprising a shaft-type base and a replaceable cutter head which frontally protrudes from the base. An axially protruding extension of said cutter head engages into a frontal receptacle that is fixed to the base, the cutter head being removably clamped in said receptacle by means of a clamping screw which penetrates the replaceable cutter head in a truly axial direction. The screw head of the clamping screw rests against a face of the replaceable cutter head. The extension of the replaceable cutter head is provided with a polygonal part which is complementary to a truly axial polygonal hole that is fixed to the base and is penetrated by the polygonal part. The extension is further provided with an externally conical part which adjoins the polygonal part, engages into a conical hole that is fixed to the base, and is complementary to said conical hole while the clamping screw is screwed into a central internal thread that is fixed to the base. Preferably, the base is equipped with a functional insert which is rigidly connected to the base and contains the internal thread, the polygonal hole, and/or the conical hole.

    • The invention relates to a dual-cutting drilling tool. The drilling comprises a base body (14) which is rotatable about a drill axis (36) and in which two plate seats (16) are arranged on the front face thereof for receiving identically configured alternating cutting plates (16). The alternative cutting plates are respectively provided on a main cutting edge (28) thereof with an adjacent first face (30), forming a cutting wedge, and a free surface (24). The main cutting edges (28) of the alternating cutting plates (20) complement each other in the region of a central, offset cutting part (28′), forming a cross-cutting edge which is interrupted by a center hole (60). The aim of the invention is to reduce the risk of breakage in the center area of the alternating cutting plates and to provide better guidance for the tool. According to the invention, slanting guiding inclinations (56) are provided on the free surface of the alternating cutting places (20), extending from an apex line (54) to the center corner (46) of the plates. The free surfaces (24) are positively inclined in a radially outer region in the direction of advancement and are negatively inclined in the region of the guiding inclinations (56) thereof.
