    • A compressor includes a rotary shaft, a swash plate, a cylinder block, plural pistons, a crank chamber, a housing, plural passages, a thrust bearing, and an anti-rotation mechanism. The crank chamber accommodates therein the swash plate, and refrigerant of suction pressure is introduced into the crank chamber. The housing is connected to the cylinder block and forms therein a suction chamber and a discharge chamber. The plural passages are provided for communication between the crank chamber and the suction chamber. The thrust bearing is provided between the swash plate and the cylinder block so as to receive thrust load from the swash plate. The thrust bearing has a thrust race located adjacent to the cylinder block. The anti-rotation mechanism is provided for preventing relative rotation of the thrust race to the cylinder block. The anti-rotation mechanism restricts the fluid flow through a specific passage of the plural passages.

    • A method for manufacturing a multilayer ceramic substrate includes: a) discharging a droplet of a conductive ink on each of a plurality of green sheets so as to draw a liquid pattern made of the conductive ink on each of the green sheets; b) drying the liquid pattern so as to form a dry pattern; c) laminating the green sheets including the dry pattern so as to form a laminated body, and applying hydrostatic pressure on the laminated body that is decompress-packaged so as to form a pressure-bonded body; and d) firing the pressure-bonded body so as to form a multilayer ceramic substrate. In the method, in the step a), the liquid pattern is drawn by drawing a wiring liquid pattern and a dummy liquid pattern drawn along a vicinity of the wiring liquid pattern.

    • A double-headed piston type swash plate compressor is provided with a front housing including a suction chamber, a rear housing, a cylinder block, a rotation shaft, and double-headed pistons. The cylinder block includes cylinder bores, a rotation shaft accommodation bore, a communication conduit that communicates the suction chamber with the rotation shaft accommodation bore, and suction passages communicating the rotation shaft accommodation bore to front compression chambers. The rotation shaft includes a groove passage that communicates with the suction passages. Further, the rotation shaft includes an annular groove that communicates the communication conduit with the groove passage. The annular groove includes a front side surface, which is spaced toward the rear housing from an opening of the rotary shaft accommodation bore that faces the front housing.
