摘要： Novel fluorinated unsaturated glycidyl ethers are prepared by reacting 1,1,1-trifluoro-2-trifluoromethyl-3-buten-2-ol or 1,1,1-trifluoro-2-trifluoromethyl-4-propen-2-ol with chloromethyloxirane in the presence of onium salts. The fluorinated unsaturated glycidyl ethers are, in turn, subject to addition reaction with hydrosilanes in the presence of transition metal catalysts, obtaining novel silicon-modified glycidyl ethers or fluorinated organic silicon compounds.

A manufacturing method for the HFPO compounds which is characterized by the reaction between hexafluoropropylene oxide and a vinyl group containing compound, expressed by the general chemical formula (2) below: ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 and Rf are same as above. The compounds have utility as important intermediate raw materials for the production of novel functional silicone compounds having HFPO polymer units.

摘要： A casing of a fixed disc memory unit consisting of a case body and a covering member jointly forming the casing with an air-tight sealing of a rubbery gasket therebetween can be imparted with very reliable moisture-proofness of sealing by forming the rubbery gasket by the FIPG method using a curable rubber composition comprising: (a) a fluorocarbon-containing organosiloxane polymer containing vinyl groups and consisting of the recurring units each represented by the general formula--[--SiMe.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --Rf--CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --SiMe.sub.2 --O--]--,in which Rf is a fluorinated divalent polyether group; (b) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane or a fluorocarbon-containing organohydrogensiloxane having, in a molecule, at least two hydrogen atoms directly bonded to the silicon atoms; and (c) a catalytic compound in an amount sufficient to effect the addition reaction between the components (a) and (b).

摘要： The present room temperature curing composition comprises an organopolysilethylenesiloxane represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 each represent an alkyl having up to 8 carbon atoms or a phenyl group and n is an integer of 10 or above, and an organosilane or an organosiloxane having two or more hydrolyzable groups such as alkoxy groups in the molecule. The composition can form a cured product high in rubber strength and excellent in chemical resistance.

摘要： Silicone rubber compositions, of the addition curable type, comprise as a base polymer a vinyl-containing organopolysiloxane having a tetraorganosilethylenesiloxane unit of the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 are each a monovalent hydrocarbon group of from 1 to 10 carbon atoms. The silicone rubber composition gives a cured product having high strength, for example, a tensile strength of 30 kg/cm.sup.2 or above, without compounding fillers or reinforcing agents.

摘要： An organosilicone-treated silica obtained by treating(A) a silica powder having a specific surface area of at least 50 m.sup.2 /g with(B) a triorgano(1-alkoxyvinyloxy)silane having the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group or an ether linkage-containing organic group, and R.sup.2 are each a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group or an ether linkage-containing organic group. The invention also discloses an organopolysiloxane composition containing the organosilicone-treated silica and a process preparing the composition. The organosilicone-treated silica is of high quality, containing no substance with disagreeable smell or corrosiveness which has been by-produced heretofore. Hence, the composition containing the silica is free from pseudocrosslinking such as structuring or crepe hardening.

The composition has excellent durability in repeated mold release, and a mold prepared from the composition is able to produce moldings of constant quality even when molding is repeated a large number of times.

摘要： Disclosed is an organosiloxane polymer-based composition curable by the mechanism of the hydrosilation reaction between silicon-bonded vinyl groups in a vinylsilyl-terminated perfluoropolyalkylene or perfluoropolyalkylene polyether compound and silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in a hydrosilyl-terminated perfluoropolyalkylene or perfluoropolyalkylene polyether compound as promoted by a catalyst. Different from conventional platinum compounds as the catalyst for the hydrosilation reaction, the catalyst in the inventive composition is a complex compound of rhodium such as tris(triphenylphosphine) rhodium chloride, rhodium acetate dimer and rhodium acetylacetonate so that the composition is imparted with greatly improved storage stability without viscosity increase over months at room temperature but without affectibg the curability at an elevated temperature.
