摘要： An electrostatic latent image is formed by the Carlson process, etc. on a base (photosensitive body) to develop the electrostatic latent image by a solidification developer in which coloring agent particles are dispersed into a dispersion medium in a solid state at an ordinary temperature and adapted to reversibly repeat fusion by heating at about 30.degree. C. at a temperature above a melting point and solidification by cooling, thus to form a developer picture. Thereafter, the base and a transferred body are caused to be subjected to pressure-contact and heating process to fuse the dispersion medium at a pressure-contact and heating temperature more than the melting point of the dispersion medium to subsequently cool the dispersion medium down to a temperature less than the melting point to peel the transferred body to transfer the developer picture onto the transferred body. Alternatively, the dispersion medium is softened at a pressure-contact and heating temperature set so that this temperature falls within a range where it is not above the melting point to subsequently peel the transferred body to transfer the developer picture onto the transferred body. On the surface of a recording paper, a resin layer compatible with a dispersion medium of a developer may be formed.

摘要： A printing apparatus includes a photoconductor and a photoconductor transporting mechanism. The photoconductor is in the form of a plurality of cut sheets and stacked in a tray. One cut sheet of the photoconductor is transported to an electrifying device where the cut sheet is electrostatically charged. The charged cut sheet is delivered to an exposing device and exposed therein to a laser beam to thereby have an electrostatic latent image thereon. The cut sheet with the latent image is transported to a developing section and developed therein. The developed latent image is transferred in a transferring section onto a recording paper supplied thereto. The transferred image is fixed on the recording paper in a fixing section. After transferring, the cut sheet returns to the tray for the repeated use.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an endless belt-shaped photosensitive member laid across a drive roller and a plurality of guide rollers and caused to undergo endless traveling, wherein there is used a solidified developer which is solid at an ordinary temperature but is brought into a molten state by implementing a heating processing thereto, and is re-solidified by implementing a cooling treatment thereto. An image preparation process section is disposed at the outer circumferential portion of the drive roller of large diameter, and a recording sheet contact roller and a recording sheet peeling roller which constitute guide rollers are disposed at an upper part of the drive roller so as to mutually constitute the same plane to travel the endless belt-shaped photosensitive member in a horizontal direction. A recording sheet is delivered from a recording sheet supply section and is caused to come into pressure contact with the surface of the endless belt-shaped photosensitive member traveling in the horizontal direction by the recording sheet's own rigidity. When the recording sheet is caused to undergo transfer of a developer image formed on the surface of the endless belt-shaped photosensitive member and is cooled by suitable element means, it is naturally peeled from the endless belt-shaped photosensitive member at a recording sheet peeling roller portion. Thus, a high accuracy transfer image free from image collapse or image flow, etc. can be obtained, and a compact structure and improvement in workability of maintenance, etc. can be realized.

摘要： An electrophotographic image forming apparatus includes a suction transport unit which is provided in the upper housing portion and which sucks paper on a paper transport path and transports the paper along the paper transport path. The suction transport unit has a paper transport surface on which the paper is transported in a state where the paper is sucked. The apparatus also includes a supporting mechanism which flexibly supports the suction transport unit to an upper housing portion of the apparatus, which is rotatably supported to a lower housing portion thereof. A first group of projections projects downward from the suction transport unit, and a second group of projections project upward from the lower housing portion. When the upper housing portion is closed, the first group of projections come into contact with the second group of projections so that the paper transport surface of the suction transport unit is positioned with respect to the paper transport path by the first and second groups of projections.
