    • A trigger type head cap for an aerosol sprayer allows residual gas inside of an aerosol container of the sprayer to be easily and reliably discharged and eliminated. The cap includes a cap cover to be placed on the aerosol container, which has a stem provided on a top thereof; a tubular member that has a stem mating part to mate with the stem and ends with a jet orifice to form a flow path continuous from the stem mating part to the jet orifice in the tubular member; and a trigger lever member capable of thrusting down the stem mating part. In addition, the cap has a rotatable rotary stopper (21) to hold the stem mating part in the state that it is thrust down, and a stopper operating lever for effecting rotation of the stopper.

    • An offset perfecting press is disclosed which has a pair of blanket cylinders on opposite sides of a web traveling along a predefined path. Bearing different images to be printed, two plate cylinders are disposed in circumferentially spaced apart positions on each blanket cylinder. Each plate cylinder is independently movable between an image transfer position, where the plate cylinder is held to the blanket cylinder in order to print an image thereon for subsequent transfer to the web, and an image nontransfer position where the plate cylinder is spaced from the blanket cylinder. Only one plate cylinder is held in the image transfer position on each side of the web. For a change from one image to another, the plate cylinders that have been printing the opposite sides of the web are retracted to the image nontransfer positions, and the other plate cylinders, rotating in phase with the blanket cylinders, are moved to the image transfer positions. There is no need for stopping the web or the blanket cylinders. An electronic control system is provided for automatic image conversion. A multiple-unit, multiple-tower, multiple-web rotary press is also disclosed which comprises a multiplicity of printing units, including one or more constructed as in the foregoing, which are arranged in multiple towers for concurrently printing multiple webs under automatic control.

    • An apparatus for changing operational plate cylinders during rotary press operation is provided. This apparatus is possible to substantially equalize an actual print count to a set print count before change of operational plate cylinders. This can eliminate waste to print undesired recording paper (paper loss) and lead to cost down. A rotary press includes at least two or more plate cylinders (P), drive means (13, 13′) for driving the plate cylinders (P) and switching means (15) for selectively switching the plate cylinders (P) in a printable state and in an unprintable state. In the apparatus (1) for changing operational plate cylinders during rotary press operation, input console means (2) is at least available for designating (x) an earlier operational plate cylinder (FP) that is switched from the printable state to the unprintable state by the switching means (15) and a later operational plate cylinder (RP) that is switched from the unprintable state to the printable state by the switching means (15) among the two or more plate cylinders (P), and setting (y) a print count before change of operational plate cylinders.

Upon initiation of printing after temporary stop, the supply amount of the supply amount of the dampening water from initiation of printing up to a predetermined printing condition, is greater than a necessary amount for normal printing.
